We get some remnant winds and rain off of huricanes but the only two that really tore up the place  was Andrew, and Hugo before that.
Other than snow we don't get too many natural disasters around here except the occasional flood. My property sits on a 100 year 
flood zone, and we just had the creek crest it's banks and come into the yard at few years back, still didn't make it to the house, 
so I guess I safe now! LOL
