Hello,
This HUGE Priest fan since 1980 is going to see the band for the "8th" time this August at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. In all the previous "7" times I've seen them they have NOT done one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Priest songs AS WELL AS ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST HITS and that song is none other than HOT-ROCKIN'!.
I am begging, pleading with the guys to PLEEEEEEEASSSSSSE include this song in their reportoire at this upcoming performance. 7 times is a good size number for a devoted fan and I realize that bands always have to pick and choose what songs they're going to perform in a particular show but my first Priest concert was back in '82. I really want very badly to see the band perform this song live.
Also, I am just blown away by what they've done with the Nostradamus album. It is one of the most impressive and inventive heavy-metal concept albums to date.

Karen its probably simple dempgraphics, they have more than 10 times the people, in a lot smaller area. it would cost way more to tour canada than a similar lenght tour of the states, and in a tour of the states, they dont play second fiddle to ozzy at monsters of rock or at something like the conference center there. I wish they came here twice a year, but in all reality, it isnt going to happen. hoping for a fall tour.

The band is off the road and gearing up for another round of dates. Why would they make a thread on the official site for the group?
I truly believe that the management or members associated with the band log on here at some point.
I believe that the group have decided to reach out to their fans via this global site.
This is one of the reasons that they are heading out again. The tour is for the fans who have never left the group.
There is only one site that is genuine, and your on it now.
Judas Priest, please make do some overseas shows on this new 2009 tour. The group is so hot after such a superb 2008 album. I listen to it each week.

I got to see the metal-masters in Camden NJ front row (and get my picture with the band), and that was just a little teaser show! Merry Christmas for metal gods!!! I have one question, or maybe more but this is important to me. Is it true that you quys arent goming finland in spring 2009? I was 3.6. this years nostradamus tour in finland. Performance, show and music was perfectly going, and you were really gods! When nostradamus album released, after I listened it I thought this is one of best Priest albums. I wish i could see nostradamus album in live. Sorry my bad english... PRIEST F(OR)EVER Now I have a rock fever and i will go to jam with my friend priest and ohter rocks :)

| I wanted to thank Judas Priest for releasing a masterpiece of work with Nostradamus. Since its release way back in June, in my household it has been played at least once a day. I absolutely love this piece of work. Priest has truely done an epic tale of a most intresting subject, and no one else could have done this with such class. Thankyou again Rob, Glenn, K.K., Ian and Scott...Nostradamus is a treasure in my collection, and i can only hope this is performed live in the U.S. and somewhere near Cleveland Ohio. |

To the Mighty Metal Masters, I pose this question:
Are there talks amongst yourselves, for the COMPLETE Nostradamus set to be performed (even if for only a few select cities...)?
I only ask this, because to this day, I listen to the two discs - and wonder, what would it have been like? I haven't missed a tour in 26 years, but have to say that I was hoping for more than just three songs in the set list from the current effort. Mind you, "Dissident Aggressor" made my night! Yet - this "Priest Epic" deserves a well documented slot in the History of Metal. Please consider doing a full show, even if I need to renew my passport for it - I would so, because it would be an honor to attend such an event.

Guys
As the band has stated in various interviews "Nostradamus was new, refreshing, different, and challenging to create".
ALL your loyal fans over these many years would cherish a DVD of this tour. Having always enjoyed when good rock bands combine with symphony instruments/sounds is one thing but when the BEST of the best do it as good as Priest accomplished and a DVD is not released it almost seems criminal. |
