Thanks, Guido. I hope he comes home soon too. My sister said maybe he got locked in somewhere by someone who went away on friday for the weekend, here's hoping that's the reason!

Sucks about the aussie invasion. The possums we have here tend to be the animal most likely to end up as roadkill. That and for carrying rabies. They've got some nasty looking teeth, too.

That is my Rat Terrier, Mattie. Rescue dog. She was trained by a prisoner in one of those programs here so I had to pay extra as she knows basic commands. Yes, "shake, sit and roll over" still give her problems but she does do as Vail said and "plays dead" quite nicely!
BTW, I am due for an eye check-up soon....

Hey, she came fully spayed and all her shots are up to date. Even "chipped" in case she gets lost!
Odd that she keeps slipping her shock collar for the Invisible Fence, though.

That is my Rat Terrier, Mattie. Rescue dog. She was trained by a prisoner in one of those programs here so I had to pay extra as she knows basic commands. Yes, "shake, sit and roll over" still give her problems but she does do as Vail said and "plays dead" quite nicely!
BTW, I am due for an eye check-up soon....

Aww well he's landed in a good place to recover then! Our dog is a shelter dog too - for months after we adopted him, if Craig raised his voice at him for being naughty, he'd simply cower and piss himself. He pissed himself one time when he saw Craig walk towards him with a belt - he was about to put the belt on, so non-threatening entirely. Poor boy.
