Discussion about this years tour

I think the answers to your questions would require a crystal ball, or the man, Nostradamus himself, (and even then you would have to translate his quatrains).
Lets just see what the futures holds since non of us are prophets.

Anyone out there know where and when the new album will be played completely live?  Anyone think painkiller should come out of the set list in exchange for nostradamus? Should there or will there be a live dvd of the nostradamus album?

if they would play memphis, little rock and jackson,ms i could see them 3 times, hopefully they will add a second leg of US tour and play at least one of these cities. however i dont want to see Nastrodamus in it's entirety and the some favorites. i like the set they are playing now, with a few exceptions' i would like to see Metal Gods, Breaking the law and ygatc taken out and replaced with maybe solar angels, rock forever,genocide,etc............

Where did you find the setlist Hellrazr? I'd like to see it. Will be seeing them at the Shoreline in Mountain View Aug. 31st.

I'm just duely estastic that our Metal Gods have included little ole New Zealand for the first time ever. I've been waiting since I was 13 years old to see them and just can't believe it.    I'm gonna be in the front row if I can.
OMG it's just gonna go off.  I'd been saving up to get to Australia this time round and now don't have to... thank you thank you.  yes! yes!

Does anyone know why the southeast is being left off of the TOUR Schedule. Also, could it be possible that  PRIEST will add a second leg to the TOUR that will cover Al., Ga., Fl., La., Ms., S.C., and Tenn. etc.

The folks who are saying that JP are ignoring the midwest, well, they are playing Kansas City on 8/1 and St. Paul on 8/2 (well that's the upper midwest).  But KC is pretty well in the heartland.  I'm so happy they're coming here, when I heard it I got right on the computer and got a ticket.  They are playing with Drowning Pool, Jackyl and Federation of Horsepower.  Hurry, tickets are going fast, there are only 10,000!  Come out to KC and party with us!

The Metal Masters Tour has to do with every band involed, not just Priest! Plus they are trying to play all the open air venues they can squeeze into such a short space ot time like summer. You are not forgotten. They will return. They always do.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by mattc from Wednesday, June 18, 2008 3:35:39 PM)

I'll be seeing the Metal Masters tour in August.  From what I've read, since Priest and Sabbath (H&H) are co-headlining, both bands will only play 90 min each.  Priest is sticking to a normal setlist and adding a few gems they haven't played in years (Rock Hard Ride Free is one of them).  Once this short tour is over, Priest will do a FULL ON headlining tour and perform Nostradamus in it's entirety, have an intermission, then play some popular tunes.

LiveFromThePit will be attending Metal Masters on August 30, 2008 at the Glen Helen Pavilion in CA. The venue is massive and it will be a homecoming with a reminder of the first time I saw Judas Priest there at the US Festival in 1983. Lack of sleep will prevail as the date approaches. Standby for a comprehensive review on www.LiveFromThePit .com

On wednesday I've been for the first time in my life to a Judas Priest show. First time I listened to them was when I was at the age of 11, that was in 1994. It was a dream come true, it was great, super!!! Best concert of my life. The played almost all my favourite songs and when they did play Electric Eye I completely freaked out. I hope I can see them again soon. Great Band, great show!!!

make the most of it america..... priest were formed 1 hours drive from me in bermingham and no dates to show us fans that have followed them for many years is a load of bollox. i hope jayne andrews reads this post and sorts something out A.S.A.P. the new album sounds a classic so us brits will just have to wait until priest have exhausted america and hope there is enough left in the tank for a uk show.
