They're R200 here.. that's about $20 in your currency I think.. A lot of players have complained about the ball.. saying it is too light and the quality of it is not what they are used to. IDK... I just think it looks beautiful! lol [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Thursday, June 17, 2010 1:52:48 PM) | | guidogodoy wrote: | | The tactile "feel" of it is hard to describe. With the latter, you can get your foot into a groove to give it some spin. Not so with this new monster.
Now I just have to figure out how to break down and store the box. Heck if I am using either of these in real games. Especially the 2010. Too damn expensive! Case is even cool. Inside are pictures of a number of previous WC balls.
Big difference from the 2006 - Germany WC ball.

Anyone who missed such a wide open chance should have been (and probably WOULD have been) shot!
As for Spain, I still have little doubt that they will reach at least the round of 16. Stats alone show that they outplayed Switz. and, hopefully, that 1 - 0 loss will light a fire under their asses. Brazil? STILL a powerhouse. While not as strong as in previous WCs, I say that they'll take Ivory Coast with very little trouble. True test will be against Portugal. |

Really sorry to hear about Bafana's defeat. They did their best. Not too sorry to hear about Spain's, though. If they lost against the US earlier, then their chance to defeat Switzerland was pretty slim anyway. | | joedraper wrote: | | Will someone wipe the smug look of Diego Forlan's prissy fucking face!
No, I'm not a sore looser.. that ref was 100% out of line and what breaks my heart right now is that on the second goal half the Bafana supporters got up and walked out of the stadium... So fucking wrong on so many levels!
I'm gutted at how little support our boys got from our nation. Makes me want to cry.
You sit there and support your boys to the bitter end... not just when the going is good.
Very dissapointed in South African fans tonight.. Bafana... you did your best and I still love you and I will fly my flag with chest-bursting pride tomorrow! |
