Hello fellas! Thanks again for the show in Winnipeg, it was...Haaallelujah..Awesome! I heard you would be touring to promote Nostradamus in 2009. Does that include some shows in Canada?? The sooner you post those dates, the sooner we can all start saving up for it! Please, please consider Winnipeg, or something REALLY close to it. Naah...It has to be Winnipeg!......By the way, I hope you have a wonderful birthday tomorrow Glenn, and on Monday for you Ken! Best wishes to you both! XOXO

I second that!! I was at the Brisbane and Sydney gig. Seriously i will never forget the experience.
I too have been driving my housemates crazy with JP songs for the past couple of months. I sometimes wake up in the morning singing to myself. Of course i have to follow this up by waking the neighbours with some JP style Heavy Metal.
Thanks for the experience of a lifetime, you have created some wonderful memories for me and my family. Please come back and play Australia sometime soon! We'd love to experience Judas Priest live again! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by hellion1969 from Friday, October 17, 2008 6:27:11 AM)

Hi, Rob...great to hear that you will be playing at the sporthalle in my favourite part of Hamburg, in Alsterdorf! Ive been on stage at sporthalle one year ago and had an audience about 4000 people- all working at the otto trading company! I did a song for our boss...and it was priesty and rammstein- like :o)! it was great experience to me to feel like a rockstar for one night...
so Im looking forward to see you in Hamburg...and maybe, I`ll bring Mr. Satanic Mechanic with me, who owns an eciting garage in Alsterdorf :o)!

Are you planning a 2009 tour through the states? I know that a lot of fans wanted to see you but couldn't afford tickets for Masters of Metal.
[Burnari] Friday, October 17, 2008 2:38:28 AM
Hail to the Metal gods. Im your big fan from finland. I've heard all of your song and there's no bad songs, all is pretty good :D. Nostradamus album was a different of old priest but extremely heavy metal! Such a GOOD(or GOD) band; Downing and Tipton play guitars best and stylish, Halford sings most high, Scott plays drums fastest and hill plays bass stylick. Me and my friend hoping that you are coming to finland to play! The gig you played in finland this year, blowed my mind! You are truly earned name of Metal Gods! Sorry about my bad english skills.

Hi, this is a BIG FAN from MEXICO.
I have been in all of the JUDAS PRIEST Concerts in MEXICO (Monterrey and Mexico City) in 1998, 2001 and 2005, and also in the HALFORD Concert in Mexico City in 2001, and I am going to go to the 4 CONCERTS that you are going to give in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla and Mexico City. I used to live in Puebla but since 2 years ago I live in Acapulco and its going to take 21 hours for me to travel from here (South of the Country), to the North (Monterrey). And then travelling through the Country very quickly to be able to catch all of your shows.
I think that this is the less I can do to see MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME, and also to see and hear play to the BEST GUITAR PLAYER OF ALL THE HISTORY OF MANKIND (as Kerry King from Slayer said), GLENN TIPTON!!
Can you tell me, what can I do to get a backstage pass, because its the only thing that Im missing now. I already have the best seats in all of the Concerts through the whole Country. Please Help Me...
I WANT MY BAPTIZM OF FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU

Hi Guy's. After 25 years I finally got to see my idols live with their original line up and it was AWESOME! Seeing the band with Ripper in Dec 2000 was great, but this Sydney Australia gig was at a higher level, kind of like turning the volume up to 11. Priest rocked! Two things about the concert; firstly please release a live DVD of this tour - it would be amazing and secondly, please tour Australia again - but with a different promoter, As I don't think they did a very good job of promoting the tour.
Anyhow, cheers guy's. Thanks for a brilliant show and I hope I get to see you in our great country again sometime soon.
Rock Forever.

I don't know if any of you have really noticed but i've been reserching on other sites and i noticed that Priest are NOT including "SINNER" on the set list for the Metal Masters tour in North America right now. They did play it all the way through during the European tour this year.
This is has really bummed me out because i think "Sinner" was a huge part of this new great set list for this World Tour and i thought i'd finally get to hear it live with my own hears :(
I can see that the reason behind it is that they have to play a shorter set on this tour (15 songs instead of 17 as they did on the European leg) because they're playing with Heaven & Hell, Motorhead & Testament, but couldn't they take off the set "Metal Gods" (since they've been playing that one non-stop since the British Steel tour in 1980) or "Angel" ?????? I mean....... Metal Gods and Angel over SINNER??????
:'(
I'm going to attend the show in San Bernardino, CA & the Las Vegas, NV one next week.
Guys, please send msgs if you agree so hopefully the band can hear about it and give us the honor of listening to "SINNER" on this American Tour!!! We have been waiting for that song for WAAAAAAAAY to fucking long!!!
PLEASE, INCLUDE SINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got to say how pissed of I am that you cancelled the New Zealand concert. I've been waiting to see you guys for 20 years as you are my favourite band. Have some consideration for the fans that have put you where you are today!
[Brent Robinson] Wednesday, August 20, 2008 12:54:00 PM
Just wanted to say "Thank You" guys, for FINALLY playing 'Dissident Aggressor' - the set list this year ruled!
I have been to each tour over the past 26 years, seen a few more than once (and even flew from Vancouver to Toronto when that was that only Canadian date for Demolition) and it goes without saying why you guys are the best! Seeing one of your shows is the best rush there is! Best of luck for the remainder of the tour and I hope that you do keep that thought of doing a live show for the complete Nostradamus set. Even if it were to be only a few select cities, it would be great to see and hear!
Keeping The Faith...

[William_Wallace] Monday, August 18, 2008 1:29:36 PM
Hey guys,
great year for Priest! I saw you 2 times. One time in Luxemburg in the Rockhal and then again on the Graspop festival in Belgium.
And it was awesome, it´s a pity that I didn´t got the chance to catch a pick of Glenn or KK, but that´s life, perhaps next time. The new album is different to all the stuff you´ve done in the past. I think it is not the best album you did, but it´s not bad an I hope the next album will have some louder guitars ;-)
In Lux you were great, but I think it was a bit short. I mean it was my first Priest Concert and after one and an half hour it was over... and then on graspop the same thing... I first thought in concert halls you always play longer than on festivals but I was wrong with that. Hope next year it will be different.
But that is the only bad thing I have to say. The setlist was awesome, SInner!!! Rock Hard Ride Free!!! I was so happy, and then no living after midnight ;) but that´s ok
Oh somethin else, what is with these cool Priest Videos from the studio? Hope to see some new things from the Nostradamus Records!! I really enjoed them. Please more off that stuff.
Ok, hope you read that and understand it, because I am from Germany and my english is not the best one.^^

I was in attendance at PNC this past Saturday, August 9th. I had a VIP Platinum ticket, and had a blast at the preshow party. Amanda, Jessica and Rachel(?) did a fine job with the handling of us fans. As for the show itself, the other bands were great, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see such legends of metal. With that said, my greatest moment of the night, (and one that surely ranks high in my life) was when I had the opportunity to meet Judas Priest. As a fan for nearly 30 years, I can say with accuracy that I have listented to Priest music almost daily throughout this time. My kids grew up on Priest music, and as adults, they too are fans. That is priceless.
Rob, Glenn, K.K., Ian and Soctt, I meant what I said in that meet & greet tent; "That I feel truly blessed that you continue to put out such great music, and that after finally meeting you, I can now die in peace." Your performance that night was fantastic, and I was in "metal heaven" throughout your set. You guys never disappoint, and Rob, the affection given to the American flag was truly special, and a nice touch to end the concert. It meant a lot to me, and I thank you for adding it to the show.
As for Nostradamus, I must have listened to it hundreds of times thus far. I think it is a brillant masterpiece of music. It's addictive, and I am hooked on it. I believe this album culminates the catalog of Priest music. When I look and listen back on all your music, and apply the time period, it all makes perfect sense. No album can be interchanged chronologically. Nostradamus is a natural fit for the continued evolution of Preist music. So, to the members of Judas Priest, I thank you immensely for the pleasure of your music, and the "Perfect Metalution."
Sincerely, George S. Shammas

I have a ticket for VIP in San Antonio on the 24th and I was wondering if it would be alright if I brought a birthday cake for Rob Halford, since his birthday is the 25th? And if I could, are there any flavor preference? You can email me your response.

I really enjoyed meeting you guys! I just wish I had not come alone to the show and been so nervous that I drank beer like water at the preparty, by 7:00 it had all caught up with me! I love you guys! I just wish I had been a little bit more on the straight and narrow! Hope I was not too obnixious! But I really did want my custom Chucks signed above all else! They say Priest down the back spine! I love those shoes, and now I will retire them to my bookshelf to be put in a case and loved forever!
God, I did not even make it to Ken (my baby, LOL) and Scott, (my VA man!) Shame on me!
Forgive me my lapse of reason gentlemen, and thank you so much for treating me like a lady even though I was buzzed. I'll never forget it! Not even in the state I was in! Never, forget it!
To Rob, Glen, and Ian, I was ever so thankful just to say a few words to you!
I will be a fan of my favorite 5 people in the world for as long as you make music, and long after that as well!

My Dearest Metal Gods,
Thanks so much for coming to Calgary and being part of Monsters Of Rock. You all looked hot and sounded amazing! It was an hour of heart pounding fun! I only wish it could have lasted longer.
The very next day I drove to Edmonton with my hubby to meet you and catch the show there. I have had 2 weeks to think of the words to explain to you what an incredible experience that night was to me but still don’t really know what to say or how to explain it. It truly was the best day of my life. 2 weeks after and I still tear up looking at the picture. Thank you so much for making my long time dream come true.
I hope you all received the leather necklaces I made for you. (If not, ask Rob. I passed them all to him.) Some of the other members here helped me pick out the pendants for you. (Thanks everyone!) A
bout 2 1/2 years ago I checked out eBay for the very first time. I got a wee bit addicted to buying Priest stuff. So I thought I better try to sell something to help that addiction. I started my eBay store, QT’s Cool Stuff, making and selling those necklaces. 2 1/2 years later I’ve got that addiction under control and have built a nice little business for myself. That just ONE of the small ways Priest has enhanced my life. You will forever be in my heart.
Love Tina (QT)

Hi Rob, Glenn, KK, Jan & Scott!
Due to historical reasons I visited only two JP live shows (I live in Bulgaria): 18 of June 2004 in Sofia and 11th of July 2008 in Bucharest, Romania. I and three friends of mine travelled almost 1000 km for two days to see you live!!! And it was worth fighting for, of course! I just wanna ask you not to skip Sofia during your next tour, because here in Bulgaria you have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge huge huge number of fans, it's true. And if you really come, you should perform at the biggest stadium in Sofia!
kisses and hugs from Bulgaria! I'd love to see Nostradamus as a metal opera, so please, please, please, come to Bulgaria or at least somewhere not very far from here :-)
love,
stefi

I've probably seen Priest 50 times in the past 30 years. And don't get me wrong I am already getting chills and the show I'm going to on Aug 9th is still days away. But it would be awsome to hear songs that I love and have never heard before live or at least since the mid 1970's.
I remember when the set list used to include Before the Dawn, and Starbreaker, and Evening Star. Other than maybe the scorpions, I think Priest mellower tunes are the most intense. I'd love to hear a full set of them.
But either way, THE PRIEST WILL BE IN TOWN IN 4 DAYS

That would be a dream come true. No Breaking the Law nor Living After Midnight permitted! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by scorpion01 from Tuesday, August 05, 2008 1:44:02 PM)

Have Judas Priest ever thought of doing a tour between albums where you played the less heavy songs that you traditionally play?
Not necessarially an all accoustic show. But a show performing a set list of:
Run of the Mill
Dying to meet you
Here come the tears
Last rose of Summer
Before the dawn
Epitaph
Dreamer deceiver
Close to you????
ETC

Just a quick note thanking you for coming to Saskatoon last Tuesday. It was my 9 year old son's first concert and we both loved it. Excellent set list and a killer album!
