I think DLR has an unmistakeable sound, and is a showman who always pleases the fans. That is why I find him to be the one that Should be leading VH.

Like I said long ago on this thread. VH without Dave is like JP without Rob. Just Not the same.

Eddie called it that Las Vegas sound, im not really sure how to explain it fully, but it was that fun, exciting jump around sound. Sammy hagar's albums were it seemed just more laid back. Not as exciting, David lee roth threw the element of unpredictablity in there, alot more original, IMO.
