Yes...and the lore of Joe Namath begins...the biggets difference being the # of playoff games that need to be won to get to the Super Bowl (3 in the case of the Cards) as compared to when Namath played...and I'm an NFC guy myself, so that's yet another reason for me to pull for them!!

COULD BE, BUT IN 1969 THE JETS BEAT THE BALTIMORE COLTS AND IN BASEBALL THAT SAME YEAR THE METS BEAT THE BALTIMORE ORIOLES. I THINK BOTH WERE 100-1 LONGSHOTS.

The Vikes can't just rely on Peterson, and we defininetly need a quarterback, which is ultimately the one thing holding them back from a good season..
And on the other side, they have announced that Childress and his coaching staff will be back next season.. So they have some time to get that offense together.
