I got mail from my children today. I'm here in Iraq so you consider that stuff treasure. They tell me that they miss me and they don't want me to leave again. They also tell me they don't want me to be a soldier anymore. After almost 10 years in the Army I realize they are right...After I get home in January no more re-enlist for me I'm hanging up the boots. I have about 5 months to go on a 15 month deployment, and when I get home I have about a year left.
Civilian world here I come, the dawning of this in my mind made me pretty freaking happy. |

A few years back, I bought a black T-shirt with the words Judas Priest (the classic script) in red, a little faded, across it, in Ohio.
Now I live in Denver and I cannot find any Judas Priest apparel. I can get Maiden, Metallica, or the freaking Ramones if I want but I don't.
Having bought that Judas Priest t-shirt back in Ohio makes me super-happy! I still wear that T-shirt when I go to that music store so I can say without saying "It's not the Ramones or the Rolling Stones, you PUNKS!". :) |

Oh, yeah!! The album was in its own plastic cover and the poster was by itself; not in the book, in other words. Both were in a big envelope that was delivered separately from the standard mail.

My dear friend spoilt me and sent me this really cool package of goodies in the post. An Ozzy Cd that I'd been missing, an Iron Maiden Classic albums DVD and a Monkees double CD (limited edition.) ok so the Monkees may not be the most amazing band to a lot of folks but it's very special to me becuase my 2 year old daughter is a huge monkees (and Alice Cooper) fan.

| I finally got my copy of Nostradomis, it's a delux one. That makes me happy. I usually don't really like concept albums, because they kinda limit a band to talking about one thing, but that is not really the case here. I'm pleased. |

| I got Nostradamus today! And although my son's baseball team lost in the championship game today they didn't make it easy. Went into extra inning and only lost by a score of 4-3. For his first year in baseball and to be in the majors, he had a great team and coach and had lot's of fun. I super happy for him and glad he wants to continue. |

the damn paper didnt even do a review of it. I knew it wouldnt get the main review but they do a short review every week of about 5 new albums, just a couple of lines. nothing
