That woud have been quite a while ago, but our dollar at one point was worth 60 cents US. so, you would need a shitload of change to turn a profit if someone took it at par. smaller places that used to happen and was a big draw. now our dollar is almost worth the same as yours so the benefit of crossing the boarder is only seeing more bands I guess. oh and weaker beer.

HAAAAA!!!! You KNOW Harpos! I know the exact market you did your "Detroit turn" on and glad you found the parking lot. Look at my 'vacation pics' and you'll see that I spun around in the same lot.
As I said before, I park on the street but RUN! Never had a problem (knock on wood).
Mecca of metal, mon ami. Glad you survived! Of course, I'd be glad to see any photos you want to share.

I may have just left if I would have had to park anywhere else. I was amazed at how big the inside is once you get inside. That floor though (in my mind) sucks. Raise your hands all the way above your head and your wrists hit the stage. I got a spot at the rail above the floor to the right side. Perfect view and I got some great videos. I may post one for you just because of where it is from. I have a cool pic from outside I'll post when I get it to my computer. That was my 19th MRH show and sixth this year. Well, I sure have been busy! Fall is here and is the busy time for the chimney sweep. Hell, I've had three of my "climbing boys" stuck in as many flues this month alone!
Hell of a time getting them out of there. If only those six-year-olds would pay closer attention to their training.

There were a few seconds where I was wondering if it was faked he was playing so fast. Thanks for sharing.

Huh, interesting effect. While you were right in that it is not my particular cup of tea, the crowd seemed really into it (and, yes, the bandmembers almost seemed to trip over one another!). Those water drums must be strong as one guy had a foot on one and the bass player had his instrument IN the water. Perhaps no water left but still didn't seem right to be putting an electric guitar in water.
Hey, he lived. Cool effect, as I said. Especially from the angle you captured.

Does the water drum have any special effect in terms of percussion other than looking cool (and probably dampening the sound?).

I can vaguely remember the same thing happening in South Dakota (granted, I was 13 or 14 at the time [almost 10 years ago] hahaha) but once you got in the caves, your senses changed and it was almost a bizarro world, of sorts...

We were heading for "Cooper's Rock" in West Virginia, saw a sign for "Laurel Caverns" and headed there instead.Turned out to be pretty awesome. The biggest cave in Pa. I've been in caves before but never a mile in. They have more than 3 miles of cave open for exploration. One reason for this post is because of something I have a little trouble understanding. Supposedly in caves you don't have complete control of our senses. An incline may not seem as steep as it is or a hole may be deeper than it appears and so on. At one point we were climbing an incline upwards and came to a hand rail about 8 ft. in length. From the lower point, the handrail looked lower at the upper point and higher at the lowest point. Our guide placed a golf ball at the top (lowest point) and the balled appeared to roll upward to the bottom point. He told us that it was just an illusion and that the rail actually went downward but only appears to go upward. I still don't get it. Had a great day none the less. Anyone?

I remember that Fallingwater almost met its end ironically due to ... water! Mold, leaks, weak construction. Big engineering feat just to save it from falling WITH / INTO the water!

A stone house built by Frank Llyod Wright for the Kaufmann family. The house is built on top of a water fall. Very cool, also white water rafting is close by.

The only one stupid on here is Guidodödl and his friends, they write only senseless comments and fucking insults, every day, this has nothing to do with Judas Priest!!
My best friend Boogie on here is gone, he did not stand the fucking insults all the time to him, I miss him extremely, he was a wonderful friend and the greatest Judas Priest fanatic ever, I will never forget him, his hot comments and his high feelings to the stratosphere were unique to Rob and the boys! Guido is a fucking liar on here, he is never the boss, I will bring him on the edge!!!!
When I post on here, this is my fucking choice man, there is no limit of postings!!
I post only hot videos, pics and the latest news, this belongs to a fanpage, nothing else, but the really true friendly fanatics are all on facebook, we are the real Judas Priest family!!

Confused myself with that one.(lol) Not that it matters but basicaly going uphill the handrail was 6in" lower at the botttom than at the top yet it appeared just the opposite and gave the illusion that the ball was rolling uphill. I really don't understand it.
