HA!!! The only reason I got into this conversation was because I read another Spanish variant for boogeyman. I used one and never heard of the other. I'll back out of this one, since I've only seen a couple of episodes and don't remember any particular quotes except for one from the movie:

Ok I cant say that in spanish although I think I know most the words, but not how to structure a sentence.
I can however ask, "Where is the bus station" in greek. dont have the letters here to spell it without taking forever!
But it would sound something like "Poo eny to layoforEo?" Bad translation to english I am sure!

It was like then when i studied Russian at uni.. It wasn't until i was in the country that i had to use it and thus learnt heaps. Getting a penpal is a great idea. Especially one who wants to learn English. I have been talking to mine for 4 years, and i actually got to stay with her when i was overseas. She teaches me heaps of stuff they won't teach in class, or just don't get time too. Slang especially..

I wish greek was that easy. with the whole different alpha from most languages you can mispronounce things so easy! I have to hear it to learn it. and the same applies to all language, if you can't hear it, you can't learn it.
I wish i could just go to a country and be the ignorant foreigner for a long while and learn out of necessity how to speak proper.
