Oh ok shit for brains: Ideology fuckin translates to the science or study of ideas. However, ideology tends to refer to the way in which people think about the world and their ideal concept of how to live in the world. This is slightly different from philosophy in the sense that ideology encompasses the concept that one’s ideals are the best  fucking way.

Philosophy on the other hand may examine the way ideology affects others from a more distant perspective. Philosophy however may become ideology when a philosopher sets forth ideal concepts for the way people should live,it dosen't mean every person in the world,thats where people get confused as your shitty self.


Heavy metal's fans base"ala hellrider" from this website lives with an image of heavy metal aesthetics,and to him its the way metalheads should live be they chose to,I am with him as well on this,its a way of life,its simply to flawnt studs and spikes in the air saying fuck your weak as shit we are heavy metal,it doesn't have to stem from a political source or purpose do your reasearch if you want to ever pull your head out of your ass.

No, it isn't! LOL dude! An ideology is so much more than that. An ideology tells us how we should organize a society, an economy or a military. It tells us how we should deal with ethical questions such as abortion, euthanasia, same-sex marriage,... An ideology tells us how we should deal with every little aspect of society. Heavy metal doesn't deal with all that. This can not be said of liberalism or fascism.

I agree with everything you just said, but that still doesn't mean that heavy metal is an ideology. 

For quite a few people gardening or soccer is an escape as well. For some gardening or soccer is a way to bond with other people and to feel happy. But it would be absolutely rediculous to say that soccer or gardening is an ideology. It might be a hobby or a way of life. Maybe there are even a few simple ideas behind it, but it is definitely not an ideology.
