Oh, lord. That was all but painful. Yeah, parts of the song were fine but it seemed all disjointed. Couple of cool riffs here and there but even the fine "listen" by Screechy Clown were destroyed by the overdubbed "listen, listen." Blargh. Right down to the terrible end.

I am surprised that someone in the band didn't just stop him and say, look Screechy, that just sucks...please stop! LOL!

I like some old Mercyful Fate too Guido but let me tell you what I don't like and never liked: This 4 track "EP" except for the "Doomed By The Living Dead" song which is tolerable. But this dumb track "Corpse Without Soul" has got the be the worst freaking song ever, yes the music itself is cooI but I "HATE" King's vocals here which ruins the music,it spanks of irritating crap I can't stand and never could. lol!

The only thing "worse" than this Guido is this song "live"! lol!

Yeah "Taur Ru Fuin" is extremely hard to find,I have the original copy I got it from Black Metal.com back in 97 or 98 I can't remember which year but I bought it for 5 bucks or so,now it would go for $50.00 bucks or more,crazy.

Last summer i was looking for something cause i was tired of the same ol metal,u know what i mean!

I love the rawness and the true to form kinda of music!
It seems they just get a riff and jam it and follow it!
Not forced like most bands do,to try and write a catchy tune!

I haven't listened to traditional metal since,it bores me believe it or not!
I guess,25 + years of the same ol same ol this came along and was very refreshing!
I find it very exciting discovering new bands all the time,kinda feels like in 83-84 (for me anyways)when metal exploded on the scene!
Metal will never die as long as people can be openminded and give some other bands a chance and move outside their comfort zone!

Graveland - Immortal Pride album(1998)

Hey Metallian,this album is my favorite from Darken,its more viking metal than black metal but I can't tell you enough what this great record means to me and my collection,its epic,inspireing.....and also shows myself "why don't I like Nostradamus if I like this"?? lol! I can't answer that if I tried,Immortal Pride is just an album that is so good I'm unable to grasp at how great it is to me personally while others dismiss it as garbage. On Amazon.com they have 2 sellers who are selling Abigor's second album "Orkblut(The Retaliation) for $17.99 plus shipping so around $20.00 bucks...I know thats alot for one CD but its worth it,if I lost mine I'd gladly pay the 20 bucks for it,but I know times are hard so just letting you know...these albums are rare and hard to find as you know...this time next year that same album might go up to $75.00 bucks,its crazy!

ABIGOR - Unleashed Axe-Age (1995)

From the 3rd album "Nachthymnen(From The Twilight Kingdom) Metallian,again I'm not sure if you already have this,but Abigor's first 3 studio albums are amongst my favorite of all time,this album is so good its insane,the drums are top notch and the production and lyrics are stunning.

Its a masterpiece that doesn't get enough credit in the world of black metal. The rest of Abigor's career is not really to my likings but thier first 3 albums totally kick ass and I mean TOTALLY!!! If you don't have them already definately buy thier first 3 albums 1994's Verwestung(Invoke The Dark Age),1995 Orkblut(The Retaliation) and the grand masterpiece of them all 1995's Nachthymnen(From The Twilight Kingdom)I can't say enough how great this album really is damn!!!

LOL! You totally kick butt Metallian,your the only one on the forum who understands the realm of black metal and the only one I can share this elite music with here,its a breath of fresh air to discuss black metal to someone who actually understands all aspects of this music,thanks a lot for your knowlege and understanding Metallian,you kick ass!!!!

Hey Metallian,I pulled this one out of the vault today and haven't heard for a while...this has been another one of my favs,not sure if you've heard Weltmacht but its Judas Iscariot's "Akhenaton" on guitars,bass and Krieg's "Imperial" on Vocals...they only did 2 albums 1999 "The Call To Battle" and 2002 "...And To Every Beast It's Prey" totally esential for your collection!!! I have to agree with u man,this Heaven In Flames cd is awesome!
And yesterday i ordered "To Embrace The Corpses Bleeding",should get it in a week or so!
I bought Heaven In Flames first,cause i liked the 30 sec clips of each song i heard.I liked the grey album cover too.It kinda spoke to me,if u know what i mean!

SAXON- "Hammer Of The Gods" the very first song off the new album "Call To Arms" and its totally excellent!

Sounds very british styled heavy metal as always and has a very metallic sound/style,they do not disappoint.

I love how people call black metal noise!
There is a beauty in it all that i can't explain!
Well,the christianity bashing is one draw for me,but,i find the speed and chaos relaxing my brain!

Mayhem "The Secret Rites Of Lord Satan" album "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" is one of the 3 most darkest,evil-inspired albums I have ever heard in my life with Darkthrone's Transilvanian Hunger and Emperor's In The Nightside Eclipse being the other 2,but with De mysteriis being the "darkest" of all time.

I bought this CD in 1995 when it was out for about a year and was extremely hidden and today this album still haunts its listeners who understand "black metal" and for the dweebs who slag it off as noise can eat a fucking inverted cross before they shove it up thier arse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Metallian,do you like Mortuary Drape? I'm not a huge fan of thier later work but this EP released in 91' was written and performed live in 1988 in Italy,these guys are corpse painted black metal veterans,Euronymous used to worship these guys and sold them at his record shop in Norway back in the early 90's. Into The Drape is excellent and a must have for you if you don'talready have this one.

Another one for the Metallian,not sure if you already have this but Mutiilation from france (year 2000)"Black Melinium"(Grimly Reborn) The Hanged Priest. Willie Rousell's one man project from France started the Black Legions back in the early 90's around 92-93' or so inspired Vlad Tepes,Torgeist and Belkatre to record albums.Mutiilation holds a similar legacy in France like Mayhem does in Norway. Rousell was a freak,shooting heroin and making satanic pornos from what I've read haha! This album is my favorite though while many say its thier early work is best I disagree,this album is a black metal masterpiece,this song reminds me of King Diamond and I can't tell you why,it just does ha!

Yeah,The Grand Torturers Of Hell is an excellent album Metallian,Cult Of Daath are very simple but they don't really harness the norwegian sound and that is good in my eyes because of how many bands copy the style/sound ect....This album is very different than most U.S. BM bands but its fans like you and I who can tell the difference,to 99% of other people it sounds like everything else.

Got this one from Black metal.com in 2001 for about 6 bucks ha! Hey check out Under The Cover Of The Triumphant Holocaust CD and also while not as good as the first 2 Slit Throats And Ritual Nights the band's 3rd LP is also worthy. I need to PM you and get an update of your recent CDs because I know there is something you have that will interest me.
