Really? Wow I didn't know that haha. There is a reason Ripper is not considered one of the top 4 metal singers, and Rob. But if he likes Tim over Rob, fair enough, but to say Ripper is a better singer, that's just retarded haha.

But again, he's pretty ignorant to facts of things and how things are. Probably not even aware that there is a difference between Singers and Vocalists.

Singers:
Rob Halford
Bruce Dickinson
Goeff Tate
Ronnie James Dio can also sing when he chooses.

Vocalists:
Ripper
James Hetfield
Tom Araya
Axl Rose for the most part. He ain't much of a singer.

Also for Numero Uno on the arguement of metal and classical/orchestra whatever arguement:

Look up some Iron Maiden songs done on Piano on youtube. You might be surprised how "classical" they are. And if you actually argue that Maiden aren't a metal band, I'm gonna have to assume you have something wrong with you.
This is the arguement I've been saying. METAL HAS CLASSICAL elements that work amazingly well with orchestras and whatnot. NOT all of it is or can, but for the most part, most of it does work well. Whether you want to admit it or not. But then again I wouldn't expect you to know that really because all you listen to is screaming heavy metal 24/7. Open your mind man, I don't want to argue with you over what you think isn't a fact, but actually is.

Back to Maiden songs on Piano. If you put an orchestra behind that, it'd sound amazing and exactly like those old composers hundreds of years ago, EXACTLY. Listen to Sanitarium done on the piano (the not thrash parts), it sounds like it was written for piano.

Now bands like Slayer and what not don't work well, because that would sound like shit on a piano.

Look at all the bands that have used orchestras in there music and it turned out great.

Priest.
Metallica.
Maiden.
Scorpions.
Nightwish.
etc.

About the Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, because I know your too ignorant to even read my post:

I didn't form any of my opinions or even pretty much learned anything from the movie that I don't already know. It's just a very well done documentry on metal, and most of it's genres in general. Have you seen it? If you did, you'll know the thing I'm talking about at the first of it when he explains the connection to classical music.

And like I said IN MY OTHER POST. I didn't learn that from the DVD, I've been saying that for years because I realized the connection by myself, because I have an open mind to ALL types of music. Not saying that's better, it just helps a lot forming opinions and respecting music.

"Fuck buddy, I bet your even a homophobe haha."

Maybe that explains his preference of Ripper over Rob.

Oh for fuck's sake buddy, it's not hard to tell your an ignorant shit that really NEEDS top open his mind.

READ MY POST, it's not hard to tell you haven't dont that either. I don't need a goddamn film to tell me what is and isn't. I form my own opinions from what i see and hear. How fucking old are you buddy? You sure as hell don't come off as an adult, at all.

If you seriously think ONE genre of music is good for you, fair enough, but it's a FACT your missing out on an awful lot of good music. Even try different SUB-genres if really feel like you can't branch out and open your mind. Fuck buddy, I bet your even a homophobe haha.

Hey I don't have to go watch some TV show to tell if somethig is metal or not. I listen to the music and make my own decision. Are you capable of doing that? You don't seem to be.

Screaming metal 24/7 is good for me.

Well they better start thinking about changing their sound back because Nostradamus is pretty boring. Too nuch slow stuff. Not enough pure metal.

I think that priest are still heavy metal. Nostradamus is a heavy metal opera as said and i think that its pretty cool, not as the older priest tough but they had to change their sound a little because doing the same music all the time gets boring. my opinion about this

Couldn't agree with you more Bazooka Joe!!!  I've seen the show you're referring to a number of times.  Really though, the similarities between Classical and Metal have been understood and documented numerous times over the years.  I think if Mozart, Bethoven or Pachabel had in their day what we have, then Metal would have been around for centuries (though Pachabel is more modern than the others)!!!  Some of that music is just as intense and heartpounding as any music ever created.

In Numero Unos' defense, Orchestrational music isn't metal, I agree with that.  But I don't think Bazooka Joe disagrees on that either, just that there are a lot of similarities, and there are.

This is just my opinion, but if I had lived in that era I would be front row center every time Bethoven came to town!!  Fortunately, I don't have to make that choice now.

If Metal and Rap can meld, why can't Metal and Classical music?

If one doesn't like it, fine, but I think Nostradamus is brilliant amalgamation of the two and I really like it!!

"Go watch Metal: A Headbanger's Journey."

Is that where you get all your metal information? I guess if "he" said that ConwayTwitty was a metal vocalist you would believe that too. HAHAHA!!!!!

Umm are you a fuckin idiot?

Seriously, listen to metal, then listen to orchestra music. GOOD orchestra music. Everything they do is so similar it's ridiculous.

Go watch Metal: A Headbanger's Journey.

He explains it perfectly at the very first of the damn movie. And no, I did not get that from that movie, I've been saying that for years now.

Hmm... Orchestra music?

Tell me where on Nostradamus you can hear any orchestra instruments or any orchestra arrangements.

Go into a musical, opera or other classical performances and you know the difference.

Priest are as Metal now as they have ever been.  I believe Priest has the 'widest umbrella' of Metal of any Metal band ever.  There are so many different forms of Metal, but if Priest records it rest assure it's Metal!!!
