Going to Pittsburgh tonight to see a band that I like for the 14th time.
Can't wait!!!
Thought about going again Saturday in Columbus but I don't like any of the openers
and the band that I like "never" come on stage before 11:00pm.
I don't want to spend four hours listening to bands I don't care for twice in four days no matter how much I like this band.

...the first two chances were at a couple of the early Ozzfest's.
I didn't watch them the first time because I didn't know who they were. The next year I wanted to watch them but
I was in the lot with friends thinking they started at or after 2:00 that day. About 1:30 I heard them start playing. They
were on a side stage close to the lot we were in so we could hear them but it was too far to the entrance to try to rush
in to see them so we said f### it. Other times I either had tickets to something else or had to work or something.
I hope I'm not posting in the "Something pissing you off thread tomorrow" about why I couldn't go tonight.(lol)

...not quoting myself just referencing the line-up.
One of the things that concerned me about this line-up was the lesser known bands. I went to youtube and checked out
about 20 or so of them and quite honestly was pleasantly surprised. I think many hidden gems are going to be among the
lesser knowns.
Can't wait to see bands like
Gemini Syndrome ...sorta that "other band"esque
Love And Death .."Head" from Korn's band
The Sword ...I think Jimmy posted them here, badass
Red Line Chemistry ... a little different but I think I like them
Motionless In White ...a bit of a "growl" band but they sound pretty heavy
Heaven's Basement ...real young guys, talented, kind of 80's style, i'll post a video, some may like them
Clutch ...not lesser known but I never listened to them, sort of like Kyuss, Fu Manchu and stuff like that, stoner metal

Got my tickets and hotel booked for "Rock On The Range 2013".
Can't wait!!!!May 17th, 18th, and 19th. Over 50 bands on three stages.
This will be my fourth year in a row. This is probably the coolest show of the year for me.
They could have a little better line-up but it is a "Rock" festival and they have to appeal
to a wide variety. Something (some) here couldn't understand. The atmosphere and crowd
are what makes it so fun. I've been going to shows since 1978 and these are probably the
most fun.

HAAAA!! Those damn chemists, they are such show-offs. That's awesome, congrats!!
Just finished the last class in a Nitrox / Enriched Oxygen advanced certification diving course. You would have loved it, HRMG. I was in the room with two chemists and a nurse as we are working out all these complex mathematical equations for pressure, residual nitrogen, nitrogen + oxygen mixes at .32 O2 vs. .36, ata/bar and how it affects dive time, residual nitrogen, etc. HUGE formulae for things that can be done with dive computers but, hey, my certification instructor is old school. Wants us to do it by hand. (depth x nitrox mix) + (pressure x residual nitrogen) + atmosphere divided by 1.4. Here the chemists are rattling the numbers off the top of their head while I am thinking Please Remember My Dear Aunt Sally with a calculator in my hand (math folks will get that reference) HAAAAA!!!
I almost had to take off my shoes to help with the math, but, hey, I passed!
