Hell, guy that last took me shooting was telling me all about how he kept loaded guns on his person, in his truck and in his drawer next to his bed! He had kids too! Would just tell them "don't touch it." Geez. That is just too much temptation and some of the ones he let me shoot had hair-triggers. I'd pop off two or three shots before I even knew it. Scary.
Um, yeah, I see NO need for hollow-point or automatic rifles. Maybe they have new armor-plated deer that I don't know about but until I see one for myself...ban them! Screw Charlton Heston and the NRA!

I have no problem with checks to people getting guns, and no problem with people owning guns. I have a problem with people owning fully auto weapons, or keeping a handgun under their pillow. lock that shit up carefully.

That is one thing I'm truly thankful for. It would really suck if I were in a rental situation and had to pay rent, or worse get out, and the house was still not done. I know this amount of time is not unusual for building, BUT I don't think the guy should have started out saying he could have it done in 3 months. That makes the next four months anger intensifying.
I would love to just take my hand and cover his mouth each time he starts to say something these days. Just say, "spare me the BS, and shut up."
I hope to be in my Christmas. That would be the best gift.

Sorry to hear that Spa. Hopefully they will get done SOON and you can celebrate Christmas in your new home! Our builder was done on time, he has a great reputation for that. The first house we bought was from a family that was building their new home. They treated us like crap until they needed to beg us to give them an extra month and not throw them out on the street. Then the wife was pissed when I told her that she had to pay our rent on our townhouse which was higher than our mortgage payment. REALLY??? I said, why should I pay more in rent to let you stay an extra month? So they payed it and then the water heater broke that month and they replaced it without asking for the money! I think they knew we could have thrown them out at any time, so they didn't want to push their luck. GOOD LUCK!! In the end, it will all be worth it when you have what you want.
