I went to college with a guy who played one year for one of the NY teams, I forget I think Islanders. he was a flames draft pick and played with flury in Salt lake before they both made the NHL. apparently theo was as much a pest in practice as games, first game in calgary, he took him out. got his ass kicked by tim hunter after, and said it was totaly worth it. hunter appologized to him after the game. he only played one year before totaling his knee. Oh, don't get me wrong...I don't drink tequila with lime. Only americans do that (even worse when they give you a lemon, here). In Mexico you typically drink it three ways. Puro, mixed with a sprite kinda drink and "bandera" or flag (colors of the flag of Mexico: red, green, white). Sangrita (red) and another green. I hate sangrita so I am always "puro."
I just like limes! Thus, I GET THE GREEN BALL!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by lizash from Sunday, October 05, 2008 4:20:45 PM)

The NFL predecides the schedules before the season starts. But i agree with you, even if they had the preivous years teams who did well put their names in a hat and draw that way, i'd be happy. Just tired of the same two teams, year after year. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by lizash from Sunday, October 05, 2008 2:46:35 PM)

Yes, why do they show us the lions every year on Thanksgiving? There was a time they were very good, but then Barry Sanders retired, and the Lions feel to earth. I know someone's gonna say it's tradition, but i'd like them (the NFL) to change it up every few years? Anyone else agree? The other team that plays on Thanksgiving is the Cowboys, yuck. I know their good, but come on. |
