@Eternal Servant.

I apologize. I just now realized I fucked up and saw that you were responding to a different post. I posted that list for all the members here
and some even appreciated it so you had no reason to rip me for it. Because of this I don't feel too bad about this but I don't want to carry it on.
I made a mistake and you're entitled to you're response but let's end it after that. I won't post after you again. Say what you will.
[Budred] Monday, February 21, 2011 3:04:48 PM
I'm being an ass like you are. When I first posted that list I posted for everyone not just myself. It was a legitimate post
and Eternal Servant had to be an ass and rip me for no reason. Even though I don't want to explain anything too you,
you took my last post wrong. That person gave you a thumbs up for calling me an fucking idiot. I posted a crying smily icon to
sarcastically represent me being upset about it. Then I quoted my post with a laughing smily icon to represent that it really
doesn't bother me at all. I keep posting pics out of the mag as a response to how you  and Eternal Servant  act towards me.
And in all honesty I very much appreciated the way you acted when my friend died and I wouldn't (whether in anger or not)
make fun of a grieving person. I even apologize to you or Eternal Servant if either of you you took it that way. (Seriously)
I'll probably continue posting here and in Check This Out whether it bothers you or not. You guys don't mind bothering me and
you started with me not the other way around. I even tried to call a truce and you just ripped me so  now if I continually act like
an ass toward you, you know why. If it seems as though you stopped I will too.

Why are you laughing at a guy who one of his favourite guitarists has recently died and posting crap over his story. You didn't see me going when your friend died. You understood my point. If someone, even one person, understands why I said it, I appreciate it.

About a few years after I got hooked on hard rock when I was a teenager,Gary's playing blew me away.
Alhough I really enjoyed bands with good looking dudesback in mid 80's, Gary was the only exception, being not so good looking, whom I really got to love and respect.
He was one of a few heroes of mine I was dying to meet. Luckily, I already met my  top 4 out of 5 favorites, RATT, John Sykes whom I met as a winner of contests, Glenn Tipton in '08 and finally the Metal God himself last year. It was so fortunate for me to have gotten the opportunities.
If I could've met Gary as far as hard rock- heavy metal world is concerned, I would've had no regrets. Now he's gone. One of my dreams won't come true.

When I was 18, I tried hard to encounter Gary so that I went to Roppongi Prince Hotel (now it's closed down) dressed as a non-metalhead and went into a restaurant hoping to see a glimpse of him. No Gary, but able to meet Neil Carter, former UFO member, who is a superb keyboard/guitar player.
He gave me his autograph. I even asked him to give Gary a present & letter. Looking back, it seemed rude of me for asking a favor like that.
Soon after at the lobby, his crew told me the day was Neil's B-Day. I rushed out of the hotel and ran to a nearby liquor store and bought a big bottle of Japanese sake.
I didn't look minor so that enabled me to buy it. Then headed back to the hotel, there he was at the lobby. I gave him the bottle and left there.
Besides him, there were Bob Daisley (ex- Ozzy Osbourne band) and Chris Slade (later AC/DC) looking at me like WTF?.
I really wished to meet one of my favorite guitar heroes.
Victim Of The Future http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkSiEvt1-Ko

A month before Gary passed away, I was really starting to check him out on YouTube remembering old days, his shredding era, even found Neil Carter's website.
http://www.neilcarter.org/

Gary was starting to play his hard rockin tunes these days so that I was really really looking forward to see his live again.
I hope guitarists who look up to him understands how shocking it was to learn his passing. He wasn't just a guitarist, a legend who influenced even John Sykes.

This article tells about his girlfriend.

[jimmyjames] Friday, February 11, 2011 2:22:00 PM
This is the second time Budred has posted this stupid list of as many dead people as he can think of. Some members were reminicsing about the passing of Gary Moore and Budred pops in with another of his retarded lists that has nothing to do with Gary Moore, thus detracting from the moment. Not only that he also managed to bring himself into it by indicating which of these dead musicians had the honour of having budred in their audience at some point. He totally misses the point of the thread. The idea is to remember musicians you liked who are gone now. Not just to post names of dead people just because of the fact they are dead. I guarantee budred hasn't even heard the music of some of the people he has name dropped.

You don't get my point, do you? The thread starter said this thread is not about showing the LIST of dead musicians.
Whether or not it came from Revolver magazine is nothing to do with the point I mentioned.
This thread is not Revolver magazine and magazine cover all kinds of topics and that 's a general notion.

As Budred did to another member, I will do it exactly what he sent in the pm showing discomfort to me.
He wrote
"Are all gay people so angry?"

I hope he understands exactly how another member felt when he put that member on spotlight.

Are you even serious? I wasn't trying to think of as many people as possible. I wasn't thinking of any of them.
This is a list I got out of a magazine (Revolver) that I thought some people may be interested in reading. I'm not trying to take away
from Gary Moore just enlighten people to how many rockers have died. I was surprised to see how many have passed.

Budred was simply remembering all the fallen hero's as published in Revolver magazine. So that makes Revolver magazine disrespectful and disgraceful too? I don't think so. It makes a person think, reflect and appreciate all the incredibley talented people that have left this world far too soon. It also makes me appreciate all those musicians that are still with us all the more.

RIP to all those great musicians, you will all live on forever in our hearts.

Hey man, jimmyjames dude clearly stated on July 23rd post that this thread is not about thinking up as many people as you can who are dead.
There's no sign of sorrow from your post, right after a legendary guitarist who was respected by fellow musicians & fans all over the world.
Just disgraceful.

Gary Moore, one of the greatest guitarists on earth, headed for heaven.
Although I missed his show last year, I saw four times when I was a teenager.
His music will last forever. Thanks so much, Gary.

OH shit it was! Sorry Leslie does resemble Peter Graves in later life. I guess I'm all backwards. Haven't seen Airplane in years nor Naked Gun. Just loved his dead pan replies.

Ok, THIS is how I will always remember the comedic genious: "Hey! It's Enrico Pallazzo!!"

Just for fun....

[guidogodoy] Monday, November 29, 2010 7:32:20 PM
Plus, that was Peter Graves!!!

For the love of Buddha, am I the only one who knows Leslie's entire body of work by heart ?!

I was actually about to post...
"(He) picked a bad day to quit sniffing glue"

Then I started thinking that wasn't his line and checked on youtube.
I  figured if I would have posted that Jimmy would have made fun of it. He loves me!

But he did say, "Jimmy? Have you ever seen a grown man naked?"

You had a great life and suffered very little. The way everyone wishes they could go. R.I.P. Leslie.

Here's the late Peter Steele with Type O doing Neil Youngs Cinnamon Girl. It's pretty cool I think.

Dude, lighten up, I mistakenly mixed up Richard Wright with Nick Mason.
As for the Oliva brothers I really thought they were both dead. I haven't followed
them since the eighties so I never concerned myself with whether he was or not.
I simply posted to add to Dave Genocides list. The list is called gone but not forgotten
so I thought by posting these people some here may remember them also. I was just trying
to participate not draw criticism. It's nice to see that you'll be correcting me now, I won't
have to worry as much about how accurate my posts are. I've posted a few inaccuracies
here but they've been honest mistakes or memory loss(lol), nothing more. I'll give you credit
though, that was a little embarrassing.
I'm sure I'll provide you with more opportunities.(stay tuned)

Jon Oliva is alive. Criss died in 93 but as of last Thursday Jon was still with us according to the website Jon Olivas Pain.
Nick Mason from Pink Floyd is alive.
The drummer from Avenged Sevenfold was Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. The title of the thread is Gone But Not Forgotten, not Try To Think Up As Many People As You Can Who Are Dead. It's good to see that you'll always remember old what's his name though.

I never knew Ronnie did Aerosmith's Dream On. That was a killer track. Hearing Ronnie singing it; it sounds like one of his own songs! Thanx for posting that one JimmyJames.

He passed away in 2005 from diabetes complications. Yeah early Molly Hatchet was pretty darn good.

Man, did he die and if so when?  I saw Molly Hatchet back in 1981. They put on a great show.
I always liked older Molly Hatchet. I saw them again in 1992. Good but not like the early days.
I haven't listened since.

Danny Joe Brown of Molly Hatchet.

I found this before. Had no idea Dio had ever recorded a version of this song. Everyone really should check this out, Yngwie Malmsteen on guitar too. The video is something different but the song is wicked!

Bon Scott at his peak.

With the passing of Ronnie James Dio I thought a thread that we could post about some of the great names in rock and metal who are no longer with us would be a good idea. This is taken from the Live at Radio City Music Hall dvd. I was lucky enough to see RJD and Heaven And Hell about two months after this was recorded when they did a show here in NZ. I was absolutely amazed at the power of Dios voice ( at the age of 65 ) and his enthusiasm and graciousness toward the fans. It was a great show.
