Yeah, too bad. IMO, they should have gone a bit further in the first half, and go to 3 -0. They had the momentum for it, and a difference of three goals is usualy what it takes to completely demolish the opponents morale.
Anyway, the American team can be proud of what they achieved in this cup. Not many teams can say that they won against Spain, and held their own against Brazil. I certainly hope they will do well on the world cup next year.

You might want to think about that last statement...
In any case, too bad you guys dont watch it. Your team did really well. The spirit that they had was unbeliavable. I mean, they were the outsiders, Spain is the running European champion, and in general a football superpower, with one of the best leagues in the world. Now, our team, they would shit their pants. Whenever they play against a big team (or a team with a big name), they always piss themselves, accept the title of the outsider, and generaly lose the game before they even set foot on the field. Yours didnt. They came there as outsiders, walked on to the field as boldly as you please, and played their hearts out. It was really a joy to watch them. Heres hoping they do well in the finals against Brazil.

He is, they are great musicians , they are making music for 25 years, only in Dutch.
Every year the give a row of concerts in 1 hall , they don't move around , the 16 gigs they do are all in the same musichall , and ppl come with busses form all over Belgium and the Netherlands to see them. 25000 tickets / gig , 16 gigs in a row and this for 10 years all ready.
Normaly the singer of the band leaves directly after his last gig to start his journey in Paris-Dakkar.
More sports are not for us now our Belgian tenniswomen quit  altho Kim Klijsters is thinking about a comeback , she is already training again. So Williams sisters be prepared !

Hmm... If he gets Hiddink, we may be in for it ("we" Chelsea haters...lol). I remeber how the Russians were at the Euro with Hiddink - they kicked some major ass. We will see... I hope Hiddink says no to the Russian in Chelsea, and continues with the Russian Russians. Those guys really deserve to do well at the world cup next year.

| Breaking news Scolari has been sacked!!!!!! i believe he should have been given more of a chance but hey its tough business. the Russian wants Gus Hiddink & there are many others rumoured to take the spot. can chelsea still win any titles or is it too late? any opinions? |

our school made the semis at the senior comp. i was on the team and i dont even play hahaha.. i was on the bench most of the time tho

I have never been a real Football fan (Soccer, that is)..
Well, except for my High School, esp. this year.. We went to State and won.
