I did see Priest back in '84. But I liked Operation Rock 'n' Roll, I was 10th row, K.K's. side. That was cool.  Operation Rock 'n Roll wasn't the best,  but the view was a lot better!!

It was AC/DC up until Priest came to Australia. Could not have put it any better than BraunyMetal " i could have died a happy man then and there"

Just awesome.

Seeing that most of you b#$@&**ds have seen priest before (which I am envious of), I must say that I got to see them for the first time in Brisbane this month and I`m still salivating! I must say FANTASTIC!!!!!! Anthrax (original line up) were good, Megadeth kicked ass and Ozzy (not bad for an old fart) did well although between songs I had to ask the chick next to me what he said! But Priest......YOU RULE!!!!!!!
[BraunyMetal] Thursday, September 25, 2008 5:40:56 PM
Had to be Priest 1984 Defenders tour in Worcester, Mass!  Rob's voice was on fire, and the band simply killed that night!  I left that concert in awe - could have died a happy man right then and there.

I only saw: Judas Priest, Voivod, Megadeth, Heaven and Hell, Down and Deep Purple

Judas Priest crushed them all... what a great show
[VICTIM OF METAL] Wednesday, September 10, 2008 6:52:06 PM
I agree, i need that extra show that Priest would do in my area, lol.  It's been along time, time to let it go? It will make eveyone happy, in the end...

I was at both of these concerts, The flying cushions were wild. I think that MSG can forgive and forget, they were paid for damages. and it was almost 25 yrs ago.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by VICTIM OF METAL from Wednesday, September 10, 2008 6:41:57 PM)

Thanks for posting scorion01. Thinking back to this show i remember K.K. Dowing while coming down the stairs on his side, slipped and fell/slide down the steps. This happened before the so called "cushion incident", does anyone remember this? If the Garden (M.S.G.) doesn't allow them to preform there before they hang it up for good, it will be their loss( the Garden) .

VICTIM - I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET THESE PICTURES SCANNED. I TOOK THESE SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THE HELL BENT FOR LEATHER AND SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE TOURS. I USED TO LOVE DEVELOPING MY OWN PHOTOS.

NOTICE THE ONE WITH THE SEAT CUSSIONS AROUND THE BIKE. THAT WAS THE ONE TAKEN AT THE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN SHOW THE LAST TIME THEY PLAYED THERE. WHEN HALFORD SIGNED IT HE TOLD US THE STORY ABOUT KK AND GLEN GOING BACK TO THE GARDEN FOR THE TENNIS MATCH.

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO MAKE THESE PICTURES LARGER. I'M NOT QUITE THE COMPUTER WIZ.

I must say that the Metal Masters show at the Shorline Amphitheater in Mt View, ca on 8\31\2008
had to be one of the rockingest show I have ever fuking seen.
I was worries that it wouldnt be very loud...
WRONG!!!
It was so loud my ears are still ringing 5 days later...
AWESOME>>>>
Heaven and Hell rocked..Dio sounded great and Tony Iommi is amazing...

I also saw fight and Halford in smaller venues. Once at lamours in Brooklyn. My wife was 3 months pregnant at that show. I also saw Halford at BB Kings on 42nd street in Manhattan with about 10 other bands.

He made an announcement that that show would be the last show of the tour although it was scheduled to go on for a few days longer. I got chills. I just had this feeling. I went home and searched all over the internet. Sure enough a few days later Priest announced the reunion.

Well the work day is over and it's time tio hit the Gym! Until tomorrow. KEEP ON HOT ROCKIN'

I also hope and think they will play a tour with the entire new album. They will probably put out a DVD of that also.

Yes that was it . I also saw the same show later that year at the P.N.C. Artcenter in N.J.. I got to see Fight and Halford the band in a few small bars in my area over time. But with the last tour i have a question? Why didn't they (Priest) play the Izod also in N.J., as they have done and i've seen so many times? I really think they will be back to push this double c.d. sometime next year, with just ONE opening act!

Was it the Iron Maiden/Halford/Queensryche show at MSG. I saw that one also. WOW 3 super metal voices.I don't know why he wasn't banned. Maybe it has been lifted by now. It has been over a quarter of a century.

IRON MAIDEN AT TWICKENHAM IN JULY THIS YEAR
THE SCORPIONS AT HAMMERSMITH JULY LAST YEAR
[VICTIM OF METAL] Thursday, September 04, 2008 2:44:22 PM
Yea that would be great ( downloading the picture). Funny i saw his band Halford open up for Maiden some years ago.  Brave New World tour i think?  Why wasn't he banned? I hope one day very soon they could put aside their differences, both sides, and play their before they do hang it up for good. They've already payed for the seats, move on already Madison Square Garden. Always loved the train ride into the city.

Yes what a night it was. I took pictures that night and have a good one of Halfords bike burried on stage in seat cussions. I took it to FYE on 5th avenue in Manhattan back in November when he was promoting the release of the War of Words video. He signed it for me put on a big sile and began telling stories ofthe concert.  He also was telling us about how they were banned from the garden and how K.K. and Glen had a hard time getting in to watch a tennis match a few days later.

I'm not a wiz on the computer, but if I can get someone to scan the picture for me, I'll post it here.

MUSICALLY -THE EAGLES WERE TIGHT. THE HARMONIES WERE INCREDIBLE.

FUN - DEVO ANT THE PALLADIUM IN NYC - IT WAS SO HOT THAT NIGHT HALF THE AUDIENCE STRIPPED DOWN TO THEIR UNDERWEAR AND WRE DANCING IN THE AISLES.

ADVENTUROUS - PATTI SMITH - SLEPT IN THE MUD OVER NIGHT IN CENTRAL PARK TO GET FRONT ROW SEATS.

THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH - JUDAS PRIEST - I'VE SEEN THEM 50-60 TIMES OR SO AND THEY NEVER FAIL TO TO PUT ON A SHOW FULL OF ENERGY AND EXCITEMENT, MUSCALLY AND THEATRICALLY.

DON'T KNOW IF I CAN PICK JUST ONE PRIEST SHOW BUT WHEN THEY TOURED SIN AFTER SIN IT WAS GREAT BECAUSE THEY WERE STILL RAW AND EDGY. SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE WAS GREAT THE FIRST TIME I SAW THEM AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. 18-20K IN THE AUDIENCE - THE HELLION ON STAGE TO OPEN THE SHOW - AND ROBS BIKE BEING BURRIED IN FOAM SEAT CUSSIONS AT TRHE END ON THE SHOW.
[memet] Wednesday, September 03, 2008 3:36:55 PM

HELLO, I AM MEHMET  FROM ISTANBUL-TURKEY. JUDAS PRIEST CONCERT WAS FASKINATING IN ISTANBUL NEAR BOSPHORUS IN JULY. BUT THAT WAS NOT ENOGHT FOR THE FANS WHO HAD WAITED THEM FOR MANY YEARS. WE DEFINATELY WISH JUDAST PRIEST COME BACK ISTANBUL FOR ANOTHER PERFORMENCE.

I'm sorry to hear that.  Is there any chance you could catch them some where else?  It would be sad if you never got to see them LIVE.  How about Maiden or Metallica?  I take it you live where a lot of bands don't get go too often.
