| I heard about Ronnie's passing via a friend of mine on facebook. I was shocked. A few days later, I made a tribute for Ronnie with my copy of WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 for my PS3. I don't know that if he lied about his age. I do know that he was very touchy about the subject. Age probably didn't bother him that much. After all, his energy level was always high.

This came as a shock to me. Last I heard about his cancer (maybe 5 months ago or more), I heard he was doing good and making a full recovery.
Plus, I had no idea he was 67 years old! Someone told me the other day that he has lied about his age for years. |

I only heard the news this Morning " Monday" very sad indeed.I grew up listening To Dio's music and the Irony was on Friday I was cranking Holy Diver and best of Dio in my Car during lunch break at work on Friday.Very Sad.The world has lost such a great talent.He will be missed.. R.I.P. Ronnie ..The Metal community won't be the same without you.You will be missed.

I'm very sad to hear about Ronnie James Dio passing away yesterday. Dio (next to Judas Priest) was my all time favourite band/singer.
I looked up to Dio for his encouraging lyrics. His voice will be missed by many...however, we have the memories and the music. I spent 6 hours in my room playing my guitar along to many of his cds. It was all I could do to pay tribute to a man who (in spirit) taught me how to write songs.
