W.A.S.P. Really Rules!!!!
[Gobberz] Monday, March 07, 2011 12:47:55 PM
I really like W.A.S.P. myself. Got IEC and TCI and Babylon. But I dont like the fact that Blackie is going through this "Born-Again" Christian shite. Considering his history, I think he has sinned beyond redemption anyway. He should write a full awesome record, the next one shouldnt be a concept album like Babylon - which was awesome btw, but like his eighties albums, and be full of good stuff.

I wish Blackie would be more aware of how great some of the new material has been & play more of it live.
Also he needs to drop the medleys of cover songs.

crimson idol probably the best concept album ever. Blackie lawless is a genius and a phenominal musician.

wasp kicks serious ass and without them we would not have great metal bands such as armored saint, slayer, and metallica. They all got their fame opening for wasp. The last command is one of my favorite albums of all time next to queensryches operation mindcrime, and motley crue shout at the devil. And of course every priest album

w.a.s.p. is my second favorite after priest. also like black label society and old metallica.

i saw W.A.S.P. at the Newport Music Hall in '84
the bill was W.A.S.P. Armoured Saint and Metallica
Armoured Saint played first then W.A.S.P. with Metallica CLOSING
the other bands did'nt want to follow Metallica who were still very little known at the time

I saw W.A.S.P. live in Detroit doing support for the first major label...picked up the LP a couple of days later.  Songwriting was always a bit inconsistent, also have "Headless Children"-their best to date I feel.

You don't like WASP and think they are a joke yet you think Manowar are the greatest band on the planet????? All that Conan the Barbarian, brothers of steel shit, standing around with warhammers and swords on their album covers like a bunch of cartoon characters. That's not a joke????

Yeah check it out!! for me the albums after the Crimson idol were patchy but  Babylon is a return to form..'Babylons Burnin' and 'Crazy' were great live! nothin 'jokey' about the WASP shows i have seen
[guidogodoy] Sunday, November 21, 2010 2:15:47 PM
No secret that I am a WASP fan. I, too, stopped following Blackie after "Crimson Idol." Last album was better, eh? I'll have to check it out.
[Budred] Sunday, November 21, 2010 1:31:44 PM
...I'm wrong alot of times. Are you referring to the loudness or The Last Command.
I saw them together in 1997 in Pittsburgh and at that particular show Wasp was
most definitely louder. If you mean about "The Last Command" then that's just opinion.

Hell Yeah, I`m a Rebel in the F.D.G  !!!
Met Blackie at the airport in Atlanta GA,  Christmas day back in 86 while traveling home on leave.
Very cool guy.

"The Last Command"
I saw them with Motorhead once. Everyone claims Motorhead to be the loudest but WASP was louder.(too loud)
