I agree it does suck ASS,that Priest has limited tour dates. The closet they are coming to where i live is 10+ hours behind the wheel and with the price of gas, that drive will never happen. It is what it is ,accept it and move on,no need 2 bash the band over it.(they all are on oxygen with there old age and can not handle many tour dates.)HOPEFULLY they release a crap load of new U.S. dates in the near future. Peace Out |

yeah dude, don't worry, I heard they might be coming back for a full US tour. if that is a rumor, I will be totally disappointed too. I live near Hamburg, NY where heaven and hell/dio, motorhead and testament played last night. I didn't go cause I tried to get tickets for Toronto, Canada and some were charging like 90-200 Canadian. After I bought the cd I saw that the closest concert was in Pittsburgh, PA. I don't care too much for the way that every band now is so reliant on making a buck, and it looks like priest is doing the same. they didn't play hamburg,NY because of money, well it looks like motorhead, testament had no problem. well anyways, it is gonna be awhile, but i won't give up on rob,kk,glenn, ian and scott, and why the new summer tour dates suck. i am only gonna wait and see if the rumor is true. otherwise i will probably write them off. that would truly suck cause they are so f*kin awesome live and that would be a f*kin tragedy........... from just one hardcore priest fan.......... |

I have to say that I am very glad that i moved to Phoenix,Az area at the end of June from Syracuse, NY. I am going to the show here on August 28th and couldnt be more stoked. I do feel for the Priest fans that are being left out this year. One can only hope for more tour dates or them returning after the holidays. They played one show in NY that i saw and that was in wantaugh!? I'm from NY and dont know where that is. The island? I hope you all will somehow get a chance to see them sometime. good luck!!! |

I feel for you all --I have to drive 2 hours for the Virginia show & 4 hours for the Pittsburgh show --& I'm complaining --I can't imagine having to drive 10 plus hours or not even being able to see them at all because of the distance--I heard a rumor that they were going overseas to tour & then coming abck here for more dates --I sure hope that's true !! |

I have seen so many Priest concerts and brag to my kids how great EVERY ONE OF THEM WERE! So Priest puts out a new album, I run right out and buy it, play if for my kids and tell them they are ALL going to the Priest when they come to town (they are finally old enough)! YEAHHHHH! But WTF, the closes they come is 600 miles away in Kansas City, MO! To say I am severly disappointed is an understatement! They came to Denver in '05 to a sellout. Now they ignore us and skip pass us for a buck. It's been posted in other topics that Priest can make more money overseas than in the US. How sad. Is that what Priest has become about? Shunning their US fans so they can make a buck overseas? Amercia helped make Priest and now they are thumbing there nose at us with a lousy 20 dates! Heck, Motley Crue came to Denver, CO, yet the Metal Gods can't be bothered. Poison, POISON, can come to Denver, CO but not Judas Priest. How disappointing! |
