Anyone like 'series' or the 'movies'?

At 42 yrs. old I am still such a sucker for the Paranormal.  These 'reality' shows however, never seem to capture my attention.  I have watched Ghost Hunters and all I have to say is CATCH ONE ON VIDEO!!!!  I believe that there are unexplainable phenomenon, but I want to see it!!

maybe...

Not really an "X-Files" fan but I do love Ghost Hunters on Sc Fi Channel. Not sure why. Lord knows it is all fake but I love the show. The Princess got me Season Four on DVD and I am watching it now. I have NO idea what the attraction is but I like it.

I sort of gave up on it after the same old same old? I will check it out if i can find them. I did really enjoy the show while it lasted, just lost me big time at the end.

Hi VOM...did you ever get the chance to see the first movie?  If you haven't, do it.  The Movie really tied everything up (for the most part), it really explained a lot.  If you can catch the last two shows of the series before hand, that would be even better!!

Idid like the X-Files alot in the begining. But as the years went by, Scully never seemed to get it, even when she herself saw the unseeable. And the lost me in the last season, Mulder taken by aliens. Just my 2cents...

The FRINGE is over hyped and put me to sleep, three weeks in a row? I really thought it was me and gave it a couple more trys, they owe me 2 hours of my life back. Steer clear of this crap, unless you are having trouble sleeping,lol...

I never did see the final season. Heard everything after the kiss sucked - any truth to that?

BTW, SKIP FRINGE - it's no good. Try Dexter.

Did you guys like the new Agents the last seasons?  I have to admit that I loved the irony of Scully trying to do the 'convining' with them, like Mulder had to do with her in the beginning!!

Well, I finally watched the movie and I really enjoyed it.  I think it was easier to follow than the first one for those who didn't follow the series.  It also left the door open for future movies, which I hope they continue to do.

I've never watched Fringe...the previews never seemed too interesting...I think the X Files left pretty big shoes to fill...I'm hoping to watch the movie this weekend...being a hardcore fan, I'm sure I'll enjoy it!!

The new movie was made for true fans of the show.  I am an "X-phile" and loved it...if you were not into the show and hardcore about it then you won't like it.

The movie made me miss the series...man every Sunday night at 9pm on Fox 5...i never missed an episode.  I don't have shows like that anymore...all of them ended.

Fringe is a giant ripoff with terrible actors (even a strikingly similar opening theme) and apparantley everyone has boners for it becasue the guy that made it made Lost.  I tried to watch one episode and it was unbearable.

Didn't they make a porno based on X Files called Sex Files? That could be interesting, has anyone seen it?
[ron h] Monday, October 06, 2008 4:01:26 AM
I haven't seen the new movie yet, though I will be shortly.  I did however, think the 1st movie tied up pretty much everything with the series, which is rare (i think).  I've heard the the new movies focus is on the characters themselves, more than anything else.  Has anyone seen the new movie yet??

I got very into the X files. I loved it, watched every show. I was sad to see it end, and definatly wish that it had continued. With some of the garbage on t.v. these days they should bring it back!
