Yes Rob did the Sabbath thing - no replacement imo - and JP without him is a bad move....he is a legend - and the solo material roars!!!!

eh....I don't think rob would leave...if he does I'm not buying any new album....there's no voice that can do what rob's does...and if owens returns it's going to be like the tribute band it was when he came for the first time...i would keep the old stuff and bring back to my memory the good times

I think he intends to keep Halford as his side entertainment. He gets more recognition with JP but his solo stuff is absolutely Brilliant.

I love listening to Crucible in my down time... It's fricken brilliant work.. I had heard they have stuff written for a 3rd album but Halford being busy with JP, they don't have time to record it... assuming this is true.

To be honest i would love to see the Halford band do another album, the first two kick some major metal arse.

If Rob ever leaves JP, I'll cry.  He's my idol.

my one and only comment - the 'Halford' solo stuff is so much better IMO than JP recently...what u bitching about?
[Becks] Tuesday, February 10, 2009 3:14:53 PM
I agree with the sentiment that if Rob were to (God forbid) leave Priest again, the band would cease. I honestly think JP will end their careers (as JP that is) with the current line up.

If Halford leaves the band, which ain't gonna happen I hope and think, the band will just cease. There near ready to retire anyway, maybe another album or two after this. And don't forget Halford wants to put out the forth Halford album and tour with it, and he said he wants to end his career with Priest.

If Rob were to leave priest again, The I would hope that Ripper would come back.... I've heard alot of the songs that Ripper did when he was with the band, and I think he did a pretty decent job.
