Nice one, Malcolm Dome!  Now, there's a man from the golden age of Kerrang!

As for Terrorizer, well, they do cover traditional metal as well, like Priest, Maiden, Saxon, Motorhead etc (and a lot of newer bands who are obviously influenced by classic metal.)  And besides, they put the new AC/DC and Metallica (both very good albums, too) in their chart (and quite high up at that.)  So......... I don't get it!  I can't quite trust Terrorizer's opinion as much any more.

To me, "Nostradamus" is an outstanding piece of work.

Well, Kerrang's a load of crap now anyway. They used to have Priest plastered all over their pages along with other great bands like Saxon, but now they feature very heavily all the shitty emo bands and crap like Elliott Minor and Bullet For My Valentine who will never live up to Priest. I've never read Terrorizer but to me it looks a very hardcore metal magazine and with Nostradamus being rather different and encompassing loads of genres of music, not just metal, they may have been put off by that like a lot of people, unfortunately, have. Metal Hammer is the best Metal magazine out there and they have there opinions straight.

(DEATH TO KERRAP!)

Indeed, even Metal Hammer only put it at number twenty-five of their fifty top albums. But all kudos to their writer Malcolm Dome for listing Nostradamus his top album of the year- Mr. Dome we salute you

Thanks a bunch to Kerrang! and Terrorizer for snubbing Priest and "Nostradamus" in their 2008 end-of-year polls.

I lost respect for Kerrang! a long time ago and now my trust in Terrorizer has been damaged too.

I'll say it again: this is an insult to a truly great band from two of the "top" metal magazines.

These are strange times indeed!
