 Have been an avid fan since the 1970's, after missing out on tickets for live performances on several occasions, managed to see J. Priest at long last in 1991. As I thought - the only band I have ever heard play live that gave a better listening experience than that of their studio recordings! |

Rob still has the BEST voice in the world of metal period! Hands down no one better. I think Rob will tour till he drops. I think he loves it that much. LONG LIVE THE METAL GOD that is Rob Halford!

| Priest was my first concert ever. I was 12 or 13 and was at the show in 86 or 87 in dallas texas. The one they filmed for Priest...Live! I had only heard about the show the day of and could only get nose bleed seats. But I still loved every min. of it. I will never ever forget it. I have seen Them alot of times since and they always blow me away! Priest are one of the best live bands ever and always will be. |

Well if there's official tour dates for a date you heard about them playing on, it's always gonna be the one listed by THEM, not an email from whoever.

Hi, Shewulf8!! Who sent you the e-mail? There's only a Chicago date, according to the Tour Info page on this website, and that one's on July 19th, not June 29th.

Let me just say with all confidence that the only song that Halford really struggles with now is Painkiller and even then he gets the trademark screams spot on and i mean SPOT ON. When i went to see them live in February it was the best concert of my life and boy did they have some competition. Testament and Megadeth were both on top form and i thought Priest were gonna have sound difficulties as they took ages to come on as there was a technical fault but My God, they blew the other 2 off the stage. By the time Prophecy had kicked in i had forgotten who had been on beforehand and i kicked myself for doubting that they would be anything less than 'out of this world' as i too had heard and seen some live videos that didn't sound the best. Don't let people who have only watched youtube videos and never seen Priest live fool you, They are an incredible live band and Halford will have your ears bleeding by the end of the set. The monitors in Manchester couldn't handle the pitch of his screams and i was in the front row practically deaf thanks to the end of Painkiller.
I've seen them 3 times since 2005 and believe me you wouldn't wanna miss them, it is a completely different experience watching them live in concert to some terrible quality youtube video.
They are the Metal Gods and they will blow your mind! |

anyone have live vengeneance 82 dvd ? check out croud front row bottom right corner in very begining of breaking the law. there is a guy in a brown suite with blue shirt . he must of thought judas priest was a cristian band on a sunday !!!!!!!!!!!!! must have blown his mind. the guy dont even move. hee hee  |
