Both great. DIO may be the better singer but Bruce the best Frontman, he is all over and masters the crowd. |

I have to go with "Dio". Bruce Dickinson is great,but he tends to go off on a "caterwaulling Pavarotti" thinking he is "Pavarotti" for a breif minute or something...I don't know but it gets irritating after a while.
Dio is good,but I wouldn't put him second to Rob Halford though.....that spot has been taken by the majestic "Biff Byford" of legendary British metalers 'Saxon"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most definetly man, it also amazing how a person's prefrence changes. When i first started listening to metal i was all about Pantera and Six feet under. I loved the really growling monster like vocals. Now that's almost 100% changed to singing musically. Ansemlo( i think thats how you spell phils last name) used to be my favourite singer. I still like certian heavy vocals though alot of them i can't stand for some odd reason.

I can't stand Dio's vocals.... never liked it, i've tried listening to his music time and time again but i just can't get into it. |

| what a hard choice...but I have to agree Dio is better...Dickinson is a very good one...actually one of the best...he would be in my top 5 but right now I choose Dio...he's just on a higher level |

Although Bruce is a more talented diverse singer, RJD has the coolest sounding voice, someone on this site once said it best " He could sing the abc's and make it kick ass" I havent heard the new Heaven and Hell album, but im going to see them aug 7 and i am beyond stoked. Dio is second to only Halford in my books. |
