I really love Nostradamus, I agree, it is not being appreciated right now as I know it will be one day. The album is brilliant. It has ups and downs and little intricate pieces that drive me mad. I wish some of the intro songs were a bit longer because I love them. Lyrics are wonderful too. Class act as always. |

I love that hungry wolf metaphor, just brilliant JD. Fans will appreciate Nostradamus like they appreciate Rocka Rolla, it may take some time but it will sink in. I don't care how many threads are on here,I was just saying that not everybody will get your point the more threads there are....like this thread....an excellent topic....
Since it is already created...I think that Nostradamus may be more appreciated when the new album hits the shelves because I think with the new album...
it will be more of a classic heavy metal album for fans to thrive on,then after they have been thriving on it...they can reflect back to Nostradamus and try to see the "art" behind it's creation.
Right now....too many old school fans are hungry for metal...like a wolve hungry for blood!!

You're certainly right about the amount of threads I make, I have a bit of an obsession in doing that | | J.D. This is a good thread idea, but maybe next time we could put it in an already exsisting thread....just an idea, thats all no worries. | | Cobras-Aura wrote: | | A lot of people claim they weren't too satisfied by this album. I think essentially that when Priest do and finish the Nostradamus tour and release a really strong heavy metal record next time around, the fans will be able to appreciate Nostradamus a lot more when it's out of the way. I think same might have been with Point Of Entry, maybe not the strongest album but it was given a lot more appreciation after it was out of the way and out came Screaming For Vengeance. I certainly think fans should appreciate that Priest tried doing something differently and for its genre of music. It's a very relaxing album to listen to, good for anyone who can sit down and just lose themselves in the 104 minutes of music on it. |
