What do you listen to, other than metal, that you rarely admit to?

I have no guilty pleasures, I listen to what I listen to and make no apologies for it. But if anyone asks....deny, deny deny !!!

maybe it sounds weird but my musical guilty pleasure is Taylor Swift because somehow their songs are somewhat tender and nice to dedicate some special person, however, only get to hear it 1 or 2 times a week, I like a million times but listening to Heavy Metal

Great to know that I'm not the only one here who enjoys 80s music! In my opinion the best pop songs ever were made during that period, and who wouldn't love all of those lovely power ballads? :D

That was quick.
Yes he did.  I still listen to the first two albums. I love "Cold as Ice" ,"Long, Long Way from Home", "Feels Like the First Time" etc.

Hi Bud!  I couldn't care less for Journey now either.  At least Lou Gramm had a unique voice...still love Urgent and other songs.

Foreigner was the very first concert that I went to.(1978)
I saw Journey open up for Ted Nugent  less than a year later.(1979)
I didn't even know who Journey was yet but I started liking them because
of "Wheel in the Sky". Don't care for them now though.

Hi Nupe!  Me too...disco, all the 80's stuff...Thomas Dolby, Prefab Sprout...I felt like a knob telling people I liked Journey and Foreigner and stuff like that.  Oh well, one of the perks of getting old is not giving a sh*t about impressing other people or embarrassing yourself!

I sometimes listen to 70s disco and 80s pop, like Abba, Bee Gees, Laura Branigan etc. Which is probably why I like the Turbo album so much...

There were times, long long years ago that made feel embarassed to listen other music that was not pure, lovely metal. And people at that time looked queer at me, because I was a girl and was figured girls don`t listen that kind of nasty music. It was a double trouble but now,  I am free to listen whatever I might, regardless of what metal comrades or detractors woudl say :)

Ok, 'fess up, there's gotta be something funky you listen to when no one's around....like 80's British Invasion!
