Thank you very much for the Winston-Salem info, sounds like you are set. Its going to be a good one for sure, we still haven't ruled it out!

I got my tickets as soon as they went on sale for the Winston-Salem show and got 4th row-center tickets. The tix were like 80 bucks. I would have bought tix on the first 3 rows but they were more expensive ($125) and there had been no announcement that those 3 rows would be more expensive so I didn't have enough money ready. Had it been announced I would have gone for them. Anyway, there are still tix availailable and there are really no "bad" seats in the Lawrence Joel Coliseum. If you are in NC, SC or Virginia don't hesitate to buy your tix and come over. It is a small, nice coliseum with good view from every seat and the prices are reasonable for more than 2 hours of metal from Priest plus you get to see Scott Gorham ( Thin Lizzy), another guitar great from the golden days of ROCK.

I saw Judas Priest On Sunday Oct 30 It was AWESOME! I wanna see them again. When the curtain fell and I saw Rob Halford for the first time I started screaming like a little girl and then I sat there is awe. Sang every lyric and Rob was amazing he could hit those high notes and in one part of a song he when so high it sounded like he was 27 again.
And at his age that dude and still strut and dance around the stage. PURE AWESOMENESS!
I'm defiantly keeping my Metal Faith

Was an excellent gi in Las Vegas at The Joint and flew from Rochester N.Y. to check out The Priest like I have been for 25 years or so. My girlfriend really enjoyed Vegas and the gig. I got her all hopped up on seeing the Priest with me a couple times a year the past tour and this one. They will be arriving at the Mid-Evil looking Main Street Armory in my hometown of Rochetsr NY and I here there is a pre-show meet and greet and an wondering how to land myself on that list. This will be my 21st time seeing the Priest and would love to thank The Metal Gods for their contribution to Metal in person on this their farewell tour. Keep Defending the Faith!!!!!

Does anybody have any info on the Winston-Salem show, from the get go they had all the floor tickets and immediate sides not available, we go to lots of concerts and have never run into this, is it the local Corporations and their allotment of tickets? Just haven't seen this before, anybody have any insight for this area of NC. thanks in advance.

Well, Section 118, Row 10 looks good. I have had similar seat before and I have to say thse are one of my favorite. If you went with the floor section, a lot of times you will be obstructed by people infront of you. I once had a 5th row on section LF (not the exact same venue). I was pissed entire time because people held up big stupid signs every time my 'hero" looked toward us. We were completely blinded. I got the 4th row dead center for the Priest, I am thinking its gonna be fine.

How far are you from the stage do you know? If its too close you may have some obstruction, but less likely. Secion 109 / 118 would be my favorite ~!!

I would hate to give bad advice so definitely do your own thing. If you want an opinion,
I went to ACC website and checked out the seating chart. Then I went to youtube and
watched a video to check out the stage setup. It looks like if you were in the lower corner
close to stage your view may be obstucted. Your seats may be high enough or far enough
to the left to have a fantastic view. I say if you can't find floor seats in the first few rows to just
stay where you're at.

If it helps, its directly to the right side of the stage, section 118, row 10. (I don't know if this will mean anything unless you are familiar with the layout of the Air Canada Center.   But thanks for your advice, Bud.  I just want to have a great time.  The Spousal Unit () was afraid to get anything higher up in a balcony, because then he runs the risk of me stage-diving, landing in the drum kit and getting arrested.....hmmmmm.......still could happen if I play my cards right...

Hey Metal12 - Air Canada Center in Toronto.  Counting the days....literally!  I turn to the family at dinner every night and say the same thing:  Hey!  Guess how many days until the JP show????  I think one of them may stab me with a fork soon! LOL

I'd say that there are a few things to consider. First how close to the stage are the seats on the side.
Too close on the side gives you an obstructed view of the stage. Assume there are 5 sections on the side.
The second half of sec. 2 and sec. 3 would be ideal. You would be over top of the crowd, you would be close
enough to the stage to see everyone in the band clearly, and you would be back far enough to enjoy the
stage show. If you take the floor seats is it festival seating or reserved. If it's festival take the floor seats and
arrive early and you'd probably end up next to the stage. If it's reserved try to get in the first 5 or 6 rows or
you'll probably be constantly on the move trying to see overtop the people in front of you.If this turns out to be
the case stick with the side. You can rest, have a great view, and have a more enjoyable experience.
This was today's babble from Budred
. Peace!

I think if you have a good company, you will enjoy the show regardless. Lower seats are great, but some time if its too close your neck will be stiff next day for sure. lol

I got 4th row dead center from the stage, but not sure if its the best seat. I could go bit far from the stage like VIP area. which venue are you going to ?

Got a bit of a dilemma - have what I am assuming are good seats - lower level, to the right of the floor seats - possibly a good view of Ian LOL....but now a friend has asked if we want to go in on some floors instead.....and sell my tickets.....don't know if I should - rows 7, 12, 20 & 29 are still available according to the ticket info, but it'll cost a bundle.  I figured that since it's my first Priest show I should go for it, but I don't know which will be a better spot to be in...

I've seen Priest one time and that was their Ram it Down tour when they were in Madrid and Europe opened for them. It was a general Admission show and I was right down in front - dead center! I want to see them again, but live North of Baltimore and looking at the schedule, there aren't any shows in my area. I find this really sad, because I also wanted to take my son to see them. I took him to his first concert a couple years ago to see Iron Maiden, and I know he would love Priest too!

What can you expect? Well, expect to get bombarded by a wall of sound...a very loud wall of sound, followed by getting to see the giants that are the Metal Gods up close.

And who knows? Maybe you'll make some friends while your there!!

Welcome, by the way!!!
