I can understand what you are saying but really it had been the media hounding him about retirement. They always brought it up to him in interviews and I always thought it was unfair of them to do so. I am not sure what will happen though it looks as if he will not return as the QB for Green Bay. I will always love the guy, I mean we were one play away from the Superbowl last year. I am just glad the team that beat us went all the way (sorry Healer!), it just made the Packers look better. My oldest son is 16 and Brett was QB for Green Bay for 16 years. He will just always be special to me (my son and Brett - LOL). You'd probably know more about that than I would, but without having the "local info" it looks like a scam gone bad. Not to mention that Brett has been pulling at the public's hearts for years with talk of retirement. Management probably just got tired of playing the game and at his age they have to move on some time or it will be another 20 years before the Packers are good again. They suffered from the 60's until the 90's. I don't think they want another drought like that again.

I don't know Tim, I think Ted Thompson had it in for Brett since day one. I hate that guy.

If there's a line forming to kick the ever loving shit out of Bret Farve for his bullshit deceptive tactics I would like to be the first in line to kick his teeth in. Green Bay loves the hell out of him and he's playing them like a fiddle.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP)—The Packers aren’t about to let Brett Favre become a free agent. And while he’s now free to return to Green Bay for another season, there’s no guarantee he’ll be the Packers’ starting quarterback if he does.
I hope the front office bury his career and expose him for the asshole he is.
