It is SO easy to blame the president. He is "in charge". He is 'responsible". Well, OK. Bush NEVER told ANYONE to buy crap on credit that they could NOT afford to pay for with CASH. It all comes down to being financially responsible for YOURSELF. It really amazes me how many Americans did NOT give back that "lousy" stimulus check you mentioned! Hmm.. interesting indeed.
I do not need to defend Bush any longer, as I do not believe he did a great job. But he did not destroy this country as so many "haters" would have us believe. WE did it to OURSELVES. Take a look at the amount of CREDIT BURDEN the average American has, man! Is THAT Bush's fault too????? Please!

Everyone was beating off over bush winning the last time and look at the state we are in today. If he were the CEO of some fortune 500 company, he would have been drummed out years ago and please spare me the "he inherited this mess" B.S..
