It's a great job as long as you don't mind the long hours and you really get to know people very well! I still some people I used to wait on regular and they still remember me! And about after midnight, they would buy me drinks on their tabs. So I really didn't mind being up till 4 am with them. LOL
Sometimes they get way to hammered and you have to calm them down and make sure they get home safe but I never had a member get mad at me for telling they were a couple drinks over the line, always knew i could rely on someone to take them home safely. Awesome! I know the bartender at the local pub. She always knows what to pour.... Great lady too, always have a laugh with her. It would like to do it for a while just for the experience.

I was a bartender for about ten years. I worked at a club and the regular drinkers who didn't change up their drinks I would have their drinks at the table when they sat down. I was fast and I had a great time doing it! Used to also do table side cooking for the waitresses when they were too busy and that was great, I used to pretend I was Julia Childs to me regular drinker customers and they loved it. The tender that took over after I left told me she hated me bacause everyone talked about me. So I guess I did the job well!
When I had Flora I had to change jobs to something I could do durring the day. So I went back to school a few years after she was born.

I'll tell you what is a really good after dinner desert drink. I made it up myself! Chocolate Raspberry. Godiva chocolate liquer, and Chambord in equal parts in a brandy snifter. Delicious!

Hahaha you know when your mixing gin and vodka it's going to mess ya up! Hence the ice teas... One i had was Vodka, bacardi, gin, tequila, cointeau topped off with coke and lemon juice.

You should try a Grape Nehi! Vodka, (your fav), Black cherry liquer, Blue Carracao, Gin, Sour mix, and Top off with Splash of grape soda! Awesome, you will get so messed up because it tastes just like grape soda! Watch out!

I had this drink once that was called 'liquid heroin'. It was basically a mixture of every top shelf spirit you can think of. OMG it was crazy LOL!.
