HAAAAA!!!! A SWAN!!?? I would guess a log to be more accurate were he to actually float. A bewitched log at that.
My money is still on him dropping like a stone off my diving board. Granted, I have no children so should not expect to have my children's children affected much but, hey, I just want to kick the guy into my pool for a laugh (er, um...I mean "experiment")! I may or may not take off the pool cover. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by _strat_ from Thursday, March 05, 2009 4:06:59 AM) | | _strat_ wrote: | | Now, now, no more about bets. This is a serious scientific experiment.
The duck possibility has to be considered. Also, he could be a swan, or just a log. In any case, we have to take into consideration his overall body density, and compare it to that of water, because that determines wheter or not he will float. But, enough theory, we need to try it out for real. He wont like it, Im sure, but hey... Sacrifices are neccesary when it comes to such scientific breakthroughs as this one. The future of our children, and our childrens children may well depend on wheter Freeze will float or sink. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | You're on!
Of course you realize that if he were to float it also could mean he was a duck.....LOL!!! | | _strat_ wrote: | | I see. Innocent = sink. Not innocent = float. I have 20€ that say he will float.
And I cant wait till he gets on here and sees this conversation. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | It would be like testing to see if he is a witch! He doesn't float then he goes to the Hereafter with the peace of mind knowing he was innocent!
...and that he should have considered fake boobs. (Quoting Message by _strat_ from Thursday, March 05, 2009 3:40:05 AM)

I think that the phrase youre looking for is "big guhrlie man!!!" spoken in a thick Austrian accent...
In any case... What if he doesnt float?

Ah, Freeze doesn't frighten me....little girlie-man.
Let's kick HIM in my pool to see if he floats! HAAAAAAA!!!! (oh wait, this probably deviates a bit from the original experiment...)

Aha. So youre saying that women have more fat than men? Cool with me... But some members will probably want to scratch your eyes out.
Oh, and I could always get really fat, and get man-boobs.

Do you have man-boobs?
I think your idea would give skewed results anyway. Wouldn't work with men who tend to have a lower overall body-fat index. Muscle simply weighs more than fat.
Don't know about you but my head alone would ruin the results.

Ok. You get them implants, and we`ll go swimming. HB will be the independant expert, who will determine who floats better.

I think we should conduct our own "independent" study.
Now then....volunteers? (Quoting Message by _strat_ from Thursday, March 05, 2009 1:37:17 AM)

Really? I saw another show (Brainiac, I think) where they did an experiment and got the opposite result. Not very scientific, tho. They just got two girls, one fake and one natural into a pool, and "observed"...

According to the show MANswers, fakes sink. Real ones float! (Fat content) HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, gotta run. Dinner time!!!

Ok, then. Plusses and minuses / fake vs. real. Plus for fake, they can always be used as a flotation device in case of a water landing. Minus for real, you might trip over them and break your neck falling down the stairs. |
