I think they're doing it b/c a couple of other bands are doing it with some success (hello, Motley Crue). Personally, I think bands limit themselves artistically by doing this. However, it's a new gimmick and people love gimmicks. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Cobras-Aura from Tuesday, March 17, 2009 3:26:44 AM)

I'd prefer them not to. I would have loved that to have happened back in 1991 or so when the album was fresh. But nowadays...I'd like to see them play all the Painkiller songs by changing them around every tour...eg next tour do maybe One Shot At Glory and Metal Meltdown or so. But not all at once. Playing British Steel all live is just...nostalgic. Rob said Judas Priest will never be a nostalgia act, so why let it be? It's not even by this line-up. It's moving backwards instead of forward. Please 'Priest reconsider this (Quoting Message by screaming_4_priest from Tuesday, March 17, 2009 3:14:12 AM)

That's fucked. They're gonna play a full album live, which they've played almost all the songs through their career, before playing a NEW fresh album live, for which they've only played 2 of 14 songs?????
