I literally kills me when I'm waiting for something good to come in the mail! I wanted it yesterday! I like walking around town instead of driving or whatever, taking time to smell the roses, so to speak lol!
Hmmm I don't think the post lady even came today I haven't seen her around anywhere. Hurry up post service I want my shirts damnit! LOL | | spapad wrote: | | I love to walk, but really only outside, otherwise I die of boredom on a treadmill and I only like to walk in decent weather. But it's enough, for the most part. | | Becks wrote: | | Ugh that's so stupid, you have two legs, use them! People would do that at my old workplace, and it was only a 4 storey building, they'd take the elevator instead of the stairs. Lazy bums. I enjoy walking/taking the stairs/running and all that I could only hope other people would also, obviously they don't care LOL. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Oh, don't get me wrong. I am with you 100%! MUCH more than the normal population.
Hell, I work in the tallest building in the whole city. Four stories. Fully healthy people take the elevator up to the second floor...sigh. | | Becks wrote: | | LMAO 4km is a lot more than a large portion of the population can run so pfffffffft I would run longer, but usually 4-5km is enough for me to feel like I've actually done something LOL, sometimes I just keep going though.
I need new running shoes, only have my old army issue ones, they do nothing for my joints which aren't very stable to begin with lol. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Haaa! You should describe yourself as a "sprinter" then! Sounds more impressive than a 4k! LOL! As long as you have the proper gear. Gotta look the part. Nice shiny shoes, top, go through a 1/2 hour warm-up. HAAAAA!!!!
Me? Treadmill save for the marathons races. "Weather" freaks me out! Only thing worse than wind for me are HILLS! Too bad Nashville (Music Marathon) is known for them. Ah well. What else have I got to do, eh? | | Becks wrote: | | I'm a short distance runner, so only 4km, and yes outside. I try to go fast though, lol. My legs have felt like lead the last couple of runs which is a pain, hope that stops soon. It was overcast outside and mild, temp of maybe 15 degrees C maximum? So nice running weather - what I prefer anyways LOL. No wind either which is a bonus, I hate running in to a head on wind LOL. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | How far a run, Becks?
Outside, I'd imagine. What was the temp? | | Becks wrote: | | Been for a run, done some reading, now waiting for the mail lady cos I'm hoping my new Priest shirts arrive today LOL!
Wow MG, Alan is so lucky to have met Steve! He must have had an awesome time at the concert! And it sounds like the car show was cool too |
