J.D., I saw Kiss in 2005 (?) with Aerosmith and Saliva in Hershey, PA....Thought they were tight and Tommy does a great job playing Ace's licks. I don't think Tommy and Eric should be using Ace's and Peter's makeup either...but I'm not worried about it. It wouldn't matter to me if the band had the make up on or not...I'm going for the music. I'm going to see Gene hoisted up to the rafters and sing God of Thunder after a killer bass solo and going "OH YEAH" a few times. I'm going to hear Detroit Rock City, and hear Eric do Nothin' To Lose and Black Diamond (he does a pretty damn good job on both IMO). I'm excited as can be for a new Kiss CD. Oh god Darth,I am dreading this new "Kiss" album! lol! Sorry man,but I don't think that the band should be doing an album without Ace and Pete while using the make up.....
Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer don't fit wearing the band's trade mark make up,if they did'nt wear the make up it would seem ok..but man I don't know...just my opinion

Yes. Paul Stanley is producing it and according to Gene, 4 tracks are done, and they're letting Tommy Thayer have a song. I'm sure Eric Singer will have one or maybe a partial lead vocal on one too. He seems to have acquitted himself quite nicely during his tenure with the band.

They are? Brilliant, last I'd heard they were all retiring and hiring replacement members to go on making money for them... something like that...
