I believe to the core of me that Priest have always been victims of shoddy management...time and again, throughout their entire existence, they have been mismanaged, under promoted, sold-out (ie. Reckless/Top Gun), and of course everything you posted...for what good has happend, there could (should) have been so much more!!! The fact that JP has been this good and well recieved and chart topping for this long is amazing in and of itself. Many other bands like them are reduced to milking their 2-3 semi hit songs in dive bars around the world while JP still play is huge areas some 35+ years later!
I would be pleasantly surprised if JP made another studio cd but in the mean time; all of us should stop "arm chair quarterbacking" the JP Nostradamus cd or the 29-30 yr aniversery of British Steel and just go out there and rock out with them as much as we can before the FINAL CURTAIN CALL.
