TOPIC: 1 year ago today since we first heard Nostradamus

I don't mind Nostradamus, granted like you said JD it's not a traditional JP metal album, but I try to take each album as it comes. Plus with musicians, I don't think you can ever truly guess what is going to come out next - we've heard your stories of when Turbo came out many times LOL! For me personally, if every single album of a band that I like, JP or otherwise, was straight out of the same stock truck as the last, I could end up getting a little bored. For me JPs albums, while obviously having the same kind of muscial depth etc, have all been different in subtle enough ways to keep things fresh (yes except Turbo which came a bit out of leftfield LMAO). I have no objections to JP testing the waters with a concept album. Maybe it was a screw up, for some people it was. But isn't experimentation and pushing boundaries what a heavy metal band is about? In part at least anyways. Like I said, I take each album as it comes and try not to have high expectations (not saying you are or anything JD) - I have been stung for having high expectations before with movies, like when I got dragged along to see The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe LOL!
Anyways, just my two cents worth
