Oh, well, we dont have it quite so bad. But we are on the edge of the Balkans, and some of the mentality crosses over, I guess.
Tho, as far as bad driving is concerned, Ive never seen it worse than in Italy. You should see Florence! Not a single car there that wouldnt be bumped or damaged in one way or the other. I once drove in Greece in a the city of pirgos (I think) and no one pays attention to the lines on the road there! It is two lanes, well just make it three because they want to! I was such a wreak after a few blocks I got out and switched sides with my then husband and gave up completely, cant imagine mayhem like that and half of them drunk. NO!!!!!!!!! | | _strat_ wrote: | | Well, not the country... My countrymen, lol.
Seriously tho, when it comes to drunk driving, we are setting new low standards. Ive heard somewhere (and I quite believe it) that half of all accidents are caused by alcohol. Not something to be proud of, I guess, but there it is. | | spapad wrote: | | So your country drunk drives? Do you have the drunken 500 there? Does it have tradition to go with it? Just curious.
