And a very good weekend its been- GO THE BRITISH CANOE SLALOM TEAM!!!!! for winning both the male and female K1 team events in the European championships yesterday- not to mention bronze and silver in C2 events. Not such good results today, never mind. (I actually forgot it was on until I turned up at the canoe club today wondering where everyone was! - had been meaning to go to Nottingham and watch.) Thank goodness for television though I'm surprised it got shown- surprised and happy. Maybe now people will start noticing that as a nation we have sports other than football and cricket
