I made Guid go to the Nashville Parthenon, and actually go inside it, as I have seen the original parthenon and have always wanted to see it's half scale replica. This is what the Parthenon looked like before the turks hid artillery in it and lighting struck it and not only blew it up, but burned it all to Hell. Yet the orginal still stands through earthquakes and time as a testament to the superior engineering those that built it. My main reason to want to see this place was to see the replica of the statue of Athena that originally stood in the middle of the Parthenon. Designed and built by Phedias, it was a huge statue of Athena clad in ivory and gold. How anything that large disappeared from history without a trace except the ancient discriptions of her, is beyond my comprehension. OK, history class is over! LOL I was going to try to sit on this thing but there was a big Hook on it's back, and I didn't want to stradle that! HA!! Me sitting in front of the capitol of Nashville on the way to the show. The wallyworld bag on me contains ponchos for a rain we were expecting, but with 98% humidity what did it matter! LOL Now, Guid has told everyone of my quest for Chucks at the mall, here is Guid's Shirne! We spent the same amount of time in this Store that we spent on ALL my collective Chuck check outs! He talked like my sister in this store! Do I want to get this? Do you think I should get this! Should I get this one, or this one?  HA!!! Guitars and tools turn men into complete shopaholics! LMAO!!!
