Don't get me started on Barry's "retirement!" He had a HUGE mural of himself panted onto a skyscraper right downtown. Ever see it? When he refused to play anymore, they rolled that sucker faster than anyone could believe. Sorry, but from a Detroit native, I have to quote Wiki and you'll know why I cheer so much for the Red Wings and Pistons. Even the friggin' Tigers got better for a little while. The Lions, well, we natives all just sigh. LOSE ALL 16 REGULAR SEASON GAMES IN 2008?!? FFS!!!

It's just PAINFUL to watch..... *sigh* How can a team suck for that long??? I'm 39 and they've never been very good for as long as I can remember! Yes Guido, that's why they call it Hockey Town, cause it sure as hell doesn't have a very good reason to be a football town.... it's just depressing during the fall. No wonder the Yoopers cheer for Greenbay.
