Yes that is great news Hellrider that the Priest don't plan on retiring for a long time,I may be wrong when I said I might think that the next studio album may be thier last, but they still are terribly slow at releasing material!!! Theres no reason why the new album shouldn't be ready by January 2010,if they get busy right now this may happen, but if they drop the Nostradamus tour bomb on us,we are fucked man because that new record will not see the light of day untill 2012 and no earlier than that for sure so lets hope they bag the Nostradamus tour idea!!!!
And Becks, yeah that Jericho dude is a joke man,he was more talking about Bruce jumping around on stage more than he was talking about comparing vocals, that guy is a Maiden fanboy! lol!! Whats funny is that the other 3 dudes were hailing Rob as the best wich he obviously IS!!! I like Iron Maiden and Bruce Dickinson but to me they will never top Rob Halford and Judas Priest,it just can't happen, won't happen....couldn't happen and as to the 2 band's song writting...Priest blows Maiden out of the water its not even a close call.

Did you catch the Remastered BTM last night?? Rob touched on plans PAST the Nos tour, they WILL be putting out more music and collectively have NO plans to EVER retire!!! As KK somewhat stated, it would take someting really massive for them to STOP making future Priest music...

Yeah that sucks man,I have no idea why on earth would they even think about even doing a tour of Nostradamus for even 10 shows? My question would be "why"? Like I said before...starting with the year 1997 when they released Jugulator up till now...the last 13 years the band are excruciatingly slow at releasing material and if they freakin do a Nostradamus tour they will milk it....
First it will kick off late 2010 and go alllll the way through late 2011 and by then it will be around christmas when they take a huge break after the tour and then when they gather themselves early to mid 2012 they would begin working on the new album wich then wouldn't be ready till probably January 2013!!!!!!
Now from this band's history the last 13 years...this makes sense! lol!! Then when the new album is released January 2013 they will milk that one for 4 more years and by then it will be 2017 and then they will be golfing!!!! lol!!!

Hellrider, was this interview you heard or read from sometime last year in 2009? Or was it something in the last 2 months? I listened to an interview from Feb.24th 2009 almost a year ago where K.K. was still talking about doing Nostradamus live ect...but that again was almost a year ago.I think that if they were going to do it they would of been preping up for it by now.But make no mistake,if I log on here in the up-coming months to read that they are actually doing the full blown Nostradamus tour I will be "butt hurt and bent"!!!! That would mean that the entire 2011 would be taken all up just for that tour, and then it wouldn't be till 2012 that they start working on the new album, and then that new album wouldn't be really ready to hit the stores till maybe Jan. of 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKIN A DUDE!!!
I sure hope they give up on the Nostradamus tour idea and go back into the studio and create something special. But whos to say? Maybe they think that the Nostradamus album is what the world wants to hear,I don't know we will unfortunately have to freaking wait it out man. Just think....if we were "fanboys" it wouldn't matter what they put out because we would like it regardless....just like 95% of fucking Iron Maiden fans!!! lol! Fuckin Maiden fanboys!! HAHAHAHAH!!!! Yeah we will just have to sweat it out hellrider.

personally i can not see them doing like only 1 or 2 shows and if they did decide to um do it they would spend alot of time planning it and all that another year gone buy and 1 LESS COULD HAVE BEEN METAL MONSTER FOR THE COLLECTION.EMOTIONAL TORMENT

Vail is correct, think is indeed the key word there, lol! I reckon Nostradamus would be better presented in maybe one or two shows at say Royal Albert Hall in London, just as a wee thing for those who want to see it - that way Priest can say they've played it live, but it won't be a full tour taking away from precious writing and recording time of a new Priest heavy metal monster album!

The key word here is 'think'. Which means it may or may not happen. If he said 'confirmed', then it's time to cry.
