TOPIC: The Imaginary thread

My first time in an airplane was my first(last) time jumping out of one. Actually you climb out on the wing at 10,500ft. with
two guides. Not an easy task considering wind speed is how fast the plane is going which was 80 mph.. Then it's UP(stand
upright), DOWN(chest to strut you're holding onto), and GO(step off backwards). After that it's freefall for over a mile(6000ft.).
A guide on each side of me but I had my own chute, for advanced not beginner's but hey, you only die once(LOL). The only thing that
I remember during freefall was the hand signals from the guides. It's funny how your mind leaves you when you're falling towards
the ground at 120 mph.. I checked my altimiter at 5000 ft, supposed to pull at 5500ft(oops), I started to pull but the guide was
already pulling it. The most common problem after the chute opens is that the cords are twisted. I was hoping mine weren't.
They were(LOL). I twisted to get out of it and nothing. I'm on my own now, no guides. It was a little freaky but I twisted harder the
second time and I came out of it. After that it was like soaring like a bird. The freefall lasted 37 seconds but I got to float around for
12 minutes. It was the ultimate adrenaline rush. I got to live every kid's dream. I got to fly(or so it seemed).
