Saxon... They're all top notch musicians, but they never did it for me. I tried really fucking hard to get into their music, but I never succeeded. It's because of Biff Byford. I can't stand his vocals. His vocals ruin the songs. Every fucking time!
Let's take this song as an example. It begins with an excellent guitar solo, followed by a couple kick-ass riffs and then Biff Byford opens his trap and the whole thing goes down in flames. It's like that with almost every Saxon song IMO.
