I have this woman living down the street so she's sort of like a neighbour anyways.. Last year I had to give her kid a lift to school because our kids went to the same school and she didn't have a car. So she started to invite me in for coffee and then it became like a twice a week appointment and during this time I realized that not only did I not like her, we have nothing in common andshe was not a very nice person. Gossips about everything and puts her husband down so much and he's quite a cool guy compared to her. She then wanted me to stop what I was busy with in the day and peeps, trust me, my day is pretty busy.. So she pestered me into taking her to the mall etc.
She pesters me into visiting her and I really don't like her much but don't want to be nasty. Today she wanted me to pick her up, drive her to my place, let her use the internet here to find pictures of something or other and then entertain her until she was ready to go home. I tried to politely decline because I am way behind shedule ( you may even notice I'm not here as often as I usually am.) She made me get to the point where I had to get rude with her. I have to give up some of the things I have on my list because I need to prioritize and she's all pissed because I wont invite her over to play.
She keeps going on about how much money her husband makes but she doesn't have a car because she doesn't like driving. Funny, for someoen who doesn't like driving she sure as hell wants to spend a lot of time in my car! It's not that they are too poor to buy a car or that she can't drive, she is just too fecking lazy to do it.
FFS! I am not a doormat or a chaufer! See? I can't even spell chaufer! lol. I then have a hillbilly neighbour interupt me and ask me to drive her to the service station because they were too dumb to put petrol in their car and she now needed me to pick some up for her. What is wrong with these people? I'm so sick of being "nice". At the same time, I don't like being mean or nasty but come on! Enough now. I have a life and I have a lot to do in short amounts of time. Why do they think I'm just always here at their disposal?
PS inbetween this I have night courses to do and I'm supposed to be getting in the last bit of cycling season before winter hits.. How? |
