Yeah, Clouds In My House by Voivod, off their Angel Rat album. One of the most underrated albums ever. It's nearly 20 years old and sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday. I listen to the show for the same reason, to hear new stuff. There's always something I've never heard before on that show. I can't understand why the BBC are dropping the show, I'll definately be checking out the final show. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by kiamat from Sunday, May 23, 2010 2:23:04 AM)

That's really cool! I've sent in requests from time to time, never had one played but it doesn't bother me, he plays enough great tunes as it is.
What I am bothered about is that this coming friday will be his last ever show its the end of an era. However I understand he will be dedicating it to RJD, so the show is going out on a high!
Just checking it out.... hey, was it the Voivod track? They're not a band I've ever listened to much before, but this is pretty good. And that is why I've listened to Bruce's show all these years, to pick up new bands and songs.

No but I told him about my show so maybe he'll check it out, that would be cool.
If anyone wants to hear it my song starts at the 50:15 mark and he reads the email afterwards. Just google Bruce Dickinsons Friday Rock Show.

How Cool is that JJ! He didn't by any chance give your web radio show a shout out did he? That would have been the greatest! Congrats!

A few weeks ago I emailed Bruce Dickinson to request a song on his radio show. They sent back an automatic reply saying that Bruce gets thousands of emails so don't be disappointed if we can't email you back etc, so didn't think to much more about it. Anyway yesterday I get an email from somebody who works at the BBC saying that Bruce will be giving me a shout out on his show that night. Not only that, he played my request and read part of the email I sent him over the air. Awesome to hear the lead singer of Iron Maiden mentioning me on his show which is listened to by millions of people around the world. It's made my week.
