I have paid hardly any attention to rugby this year, but I would be surprised if we won the tri-nations. Bledisloe we may win only cos Aussie is poos, or has been in recent times, but who knows.

If they play like that in the world cup they will get smoked and will lose players for games due to red cards.
I'd say if we keep on playing how we are we will really push a few teams in the WC. After this mornings win the other teams in our pool will be sitting up and taking more notice.

I'd say the reason he kept them in his pocket would be that if anyone got a red they'd be forced to sit out world cup games. Yeah, the ref did that in the first half too. 2 minutes of extra time given, 3 minutes extra played. Apparently the ref said to Ryan Nelsen that he would have given those two Aussies red cards if it wasn't a friendly. WTF? An illegal tackle is an illegal tackle.

Hell yeah JJ! It was freakin fantastic! I watched the last 20 minutes and it was a nail biter, then Serbian fans started invading the pitch and throwing things on to the pitch, and their captain had to appeal to them over the PA system to be calm so the game could finish! A brilliant result for NZ, and like you said will surely give us a confidence boost going in to our next friendly match and the WC.

| NZ beat Serbia in a pre - World Cup friendly match. 1-0. This is probably the best result NZ have ever had in our footballing history. Serbia have a lot of players from some of the top European teams and cruised through their qualifying group. They are ranked 15 in the world, NZ are ranked 78.
